We entered into a partnership agreement with Alvarion owned by SuperCom, Inc. The director for the US (Todd Forman)stated that he had several sales opportunities for Alvarion clients that were getting ready to close and asked that we get handle the fulfillment of these orders. We were sent a parts listing for each opportunity and client as well as a price. We were asked to get these items ordered so they could begin the prebuild manufacturing process and issue an initial 50% upfront payment of $40,000 dollars with the remainder due once the customer orders were purchased and shipping information has been provided to us. We were also told that we would not be responsible for international shipping charges since this equipment would be shipping from out of country. Shortly after this the director for the US informed us that he was leaving the company at which point we requested all customer and contact information for each of these pending orders and began to contact each company for an introduction and a status update for when these order would be placed with us. We were informed by every account that the orders in question were not imminent and by no means pending and some accounts didnt even know what we were referring to. At this point we canceled our purchase order with Alvarion/SuperCom and requested a full refund. Alvarion/SuperCom also shipped some of the equipment which they were specifically instructed not to do since we had not been provided with any shipping information or orders for these customers. We did not accept delivery of this equipment and had multiple conversations about being issued a refund to which nothing has been done. We even offered to absorb a 15% restocking fee of the full amount even though full payment was never executed nor equipment ever received. At this point they have kept our $40,000.00 and their equipment and have ignored our requests for resolution. This appears to be a very unethical organization from the top down.
