Worked for Murdon Corp. from February 2017 to August 2018 as the Office Manager and Bookkeeper. In that time owner David Donnelly yelled, belittled employees, threatened to fire employees, and threw objects around the office several times. He refused to pay overtime, sick pay, vacation, and grievance pay. He cut overtime from pay checks until he had the funds to pay it. He wanted his employees to work 7 days a week without getting paid overtime. He deducted pay from employees paychecks to repay costs of mistakes at job sites. I still have not received the rest of my commission pay even though by California Law the company has 72 hours to pay it unless a deal was made. I gave him until October 17th and he we are in the middle of December. He fires employees when they refuse to do 40 hours of work in one day or if they can't keep up with his very demanding workload. I worked while on vacation without being paid. Employees are required to use cell phones to perform daily job duties and by California Law are supposed to be compensated for using personal cell phones but of course David Donnelly wil not pay. He always stated that new customers were more important than old customers because old customers already paid us. When customers call in with an issue on their project he ignores them until they threaten legal action. There are customers whose solar Systems haven't worked in years or roofs were damaged due to our crew that he won't speak to. His company is going bankrupt and has been declining heavily in profit the past 2 years. Constantly pushing bills aside until he borrows enough money from his mother to pay everything off.
