I ordered a free flag just paying shipping and handling...then they charged my credit card $39.97 and my credit card won't refund it because I supposedly ordered a membership. I ordered a flag but no membership. Sunseekers is a SCAM!!!
I had taken advantage of their offer advertised on Facebook for a free pool inflatable, just paying the shipping and handling of $8. I'd bought from similar retailers before, knowing that the "catch" was that the price of the goods were baked into the shipping amount, and they had you on their mailing list now - not a bad tradeoff, in my opinion. Unfortunately, the Sun Seekers Club signed me up for a membership at $24.99/month, in order to get "$50 in credit" towards other merchandise on their site. All of their items were overpriced at $50, so essentially you're just paying $25 for a raft or pool toy you could get for far less at Walmart. The fine print is buried deep in their website's Terms of Service, saying that by taking advantage of the offer they will charge you for a membership.
I am not the only one to complain about them on their Facebook page, however the negative comments are deleted quickly. Their customer service was lacking when I called (the person on the phone with me had atrocious grammar), and I ended up having to forego receiving what I bought from them in order to get my membership refunded. The deceptive tactics (who reads a website's terms of service, or expects important information about their purchase and membership enrollment to be buried deep within it?), ridiculous pricing, and poor customer service are very good reasons to avoid doing business with them.

These people had a shirt plus shipping and is now stealing 40 a month out of my bank account.
SCAM
A total scam! Get something for free and only pay shipping, then see a charge for $39.97 for a bogus membership. You try to call and end up talking to a guy in India. I finally had to call my bank’s fraud department and cancel my card. A huge pain in the but for a not so free t-shirt.
I answered an online ad for a flag, "free - just pay shipping cost." I got the flag, but now my debit card is being charged $39.97 a month. Apparently, they enrolled me in a subscription even though nothing was mentioned in the ad or during the order process. This is a shamefully deceptive way to steal money!
I would like them to refund the bogus fees.
I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, as many others have.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY WILL ROB YOU!! I bought the float for shipping only, they asked if I wanted to be a member I said NO and they charged my account $24.99 for 6 months. When I called them to get my money back they said the $24.99 is $50 in credit on their site each month and that they send an email each month with a code for the $50. I NEVER GOT ANY EMAILS FROM THEM EVER!!! Then the women told me I had $50 to spend this month and gave me the code THAT DIDNT WORK and also said she would be sending me an email confirming my cancellation of the account AND NEVER DID. When I called back to say the code doesn’t work and I never got an email they said they would have someone email me within the hour with a new code and confirmation of cancellation AND NEVER DID. This company WILL steal your money!!!! I have to file a lawsuit: I recorded all conversations

They charged me $24.99 memebership fee for a free pool inflatable that I ordered. Refused to give me the money back. Never purchase anything from them.
