I was solicited in Daytona by a Suite Journeys rep to view a presentation on a travel club and would then receive a $100.00 gift card for going. The presentation was excellent and promised substantial discounts on travel so I trusted their words and purchased a membership. Later, when I went to book a trip, I discovered I could get cheaper deals online.
Suite Journeys has a "price match guarantee" on vacations. Why should I have to search online before contacting Suite Journeys to see if the price was a deal? Wouldn't you expect it to be the best price through your paid travel club?
So, why would I spend $4300.00 for a vacation club that doesn't offer anything better than what I can get myself without any membership fee? There is also a $300.00 annual membership fee to use the club. Don't do it! If it looks too good to be true, then you know it is!
Went to a meeting in Orlando Florida and they gave us 2 days in Daytona we didn't know we had attend another presentation If we didn't we would be charged for our room so we went it was only suppose to be 90 mins. Which was 4 hours we ended up buying a 5.000 dollar travel package and they were going to sell our timeshare. After we got back to the room we decided we didn't need it but couldn't cancel it. They gave us 3 days and it was the 4 th to late they said when ever we call to book everything cost more than the internet price or RCI price we didn't sell RCI we kept it I'm glad we did they promised two free trips they weren't free it cost about 3,000 dollars to Cancun and we haven't taken the other one .Also the mentioned nothing about maintaince fees and we got hit with those this year after paying 5,000 dollars for nothing
My wife "won" a trip to Florida which we took in 2015. She had to pay $500 for the trip she won and we had to attend several presentations by travel companies while in Orlando and Daytona Beach. We said no to the company in Orlando, but then once in Daytona Beach we were pushed into buying a membership with Suite Journeys. They promised sweet discounts from everything to condos, air fair, hotels, and cruises. We put $350 down towards the $3500 membership and agreed to pay $175/month for the next 18 months.
Once home from our vacation I logged into their website which I now had access to and found what looked like some really amazing deals. For a month I was very impressed with my choice to buy the membership. Several months later my wife called them to look for a cabin rental because they said what was online was only a fraction of what they offered and if you couldn't find what you were looking for to call and an agent would help you out. So my wife called and explained what we were looking for and the agent asked my wife to hold while she searched for what my wife was looking for. She came back and explained what deals they had. My wife said she would talk to me and get back with them. My wife later explained to me the deal they had and I searched the web for anything similar. I found the exact deal for the exact price from a different travel company. All this company does is find deals on free travel sites and try to spin them as their own. Sometimes they even charge more than what the free sites offer them for.
Do not visit this company or purchase anything they are selling. It is a scam and we have now thrown away $3500 we could have used to go on a nice vacation.
This company is total fraud. They lie to you and give you false information. They make you think you will be able to use resorts all over the country wherever you want for such a discount price. When you actually try to go on a vacationaand try to find a resort or a condo the choices they have are are ridicolous. The cities that you never heard have have condos for such a high price weekly rate that you can find better places to stay yourself without paying thousand of dollor for this ripoff vacation membership. They tell you that you can stay at nice 2bedroom resorts with everything paid for under $200 week and that's a total lie because you will fidn nothing for that price and barely any nice resorts are on there list ans they go for over $1,000 per week. There is absoloutely no savings with theis membership and that's all it is a membership. You own nothig and you pay them thousands of dollars on top of what you have to pay to stay at their crappy choice of condos or hotels.
They completely misguide people and lure them into giving their money to them.they rip me off for almost $8,000.00
