I dont like to write bad reviews and rarely do unless extreme. The Insurance company hired Stutters to do a flood damage restoration claim. Project manager Dave Madsen formally with Service Master Restorations of Kamloops B.C., was assigned to the Job. Initially scope of work was discussed, outlined in detail signed and agreed to with a plan along with a start date and contract to do the work for a $35,000.00 budget.
Once the contract was signed, it went down hill from then on. Promised start dates were not kept, Staff didnt show up as was promised. When I enquired as to why, I was told one staff member was "sick". I looked on Stutters face book page. I saw photos of staff having a birthday party the day they were to start work. A house key was given and entrusted to one of the demo crew to continue to work while I was away. They promised to return to the job until done and arrange/ deliver a lock box with a code.
They never returned the house key or brought a lock box. I had to send numerous emails texts and calls to have it returned. The crew didnt have there own tools to bring to the job, so they helped themselfs to mine without asking while I was away from the home, left them scattered in various rooms on the floor. When I returned home there was no workers to be found and no call from the " project manager " to let me know that they were called out to another job. They broke the blade on my saw, and left a huge mess in the home debris left everywere and have not returned since.
I escalated the situation to Cameron Stutter the manager. Numerous calls placed to him and non returned. Total disorganized Kos with zero communication with the customer and total disregard and disrespect to the home and zero consideration as to the effect of " no shows " has to ones life and to "my" schedule... This project manager and this company are untrustworthy, unreliable, deceitful, dishonest and do not care about your home or quality of work. They can not be trusted. + engage in shady business practices.
