On January 22, 2018 at 10:05 a.m. I ordered three (3) HDTV Antenna’s and one (1) HDTV Antenna Amplifier but they charged me for an additional HDTV Antenna. On January 22, 2018 between around 10:15 Mario a representative from my charge card company questioning if I knew about these charges, his number was 888-918-7313. I told him yes, I had just placed the order. I then went on the computer and found out that people were stating this particular product was a SCAM. I then contacted Card Services about my concerns and wanted them to cancel the charges. They stated I would have to contact the company. On January 22, 2018 at 11:13 a.m. I contacted the company’s customer service phone number 1-716-330-1335 in which to cancel my order. I was never able to acquire a real person to talk to and left a message. The companies name on my printout is Strong Current Enterprises Limited, 19021 Crawford Street, Dept 706, London, W1H 1PJ, CoC Number - 7245331, VAT Number – NL823330692B01. Another name that shows for the company on my bill is Brightrays.biz. I also emailed them several times at [email protected] with no results.
I ordered them on January 22, 2018, and cancelled them the same day within a couple of hours of ordering them. I contacted them by phone and by e-mail 1-22-18, 1-28-18 and 1-30-18. The items came on February 2, 2018.
The Antennas came from: Strong Current, P.O. Box 4701, Pacoima, CA91333-4701 with a phone number of 1-818-492-2760. I called that number and the woman that I spoke with gave me another customer service phone number to contact which was 866-995-7188 and I spoke to Michael. I asked Michael for the return address and he stated he would need my information first. I stated I just want the return address for these items. He couldn’t find my account using my order numbers but asked me for my phone number which I gave him then he asked me for my e-mail address which I didn’t give to him then he asked me for the first 6 and last 4 numbers of my charge account number used. It was then I stated “NO” I’ll contact my charge card company. Come on, what is going on with this company? The address I was told to return them to is Postbus 2202, 06670 AEZETTEN, Netherlands.

The problem for me is PayPal. Since I used their credit, it will take me 90-days to get a refund. So DOUBLE BEWARE.... PayPal does not provide any kind of expedient dispute resolution services, which is odd. They are owned by eBay, and they have an amazing refund and dispute system/policy. READ the volumes of people here who say that PayPal does little to help.
I know where they are located in Pacoima, CA and I will sue the ever loving sh-t out of them in small claims court in my County (Napa) IF in the 90-day period (by March 28, 2019) I do not get my refund, and then I will have a judgment against them, and that will become public. Will take PayPal for that ride as well. Dumb-ass mother f-ckers. They are as culpable as the merchants. I may not get my money back, but I will get a judgment in my favor against a big company, and one of their penny ante ripoff vendors. And to PayPal, it matters. Oh, yes it does.

On 02/02/2019, I was reading their ad online....like a nut I clicked further into it. After reading for awhile, I put the antenna and a warranty in my PayPal cart. An ad popped up (of course) to sell me something else. This pop up ad clearly stated "you may review your cart before completing your purchase." It was their site not the PayPal site. I clicked no thanks to the extra merchandise and boom my cart purchased WITHOUT review.
I immediately called their customer service...closed. What a surprise !!! I sent an email with the order # to cancel stating I would call to confirm the email. On 02/03/2019, I sent another email to cancel the order. On 02/04/2019, I called customer service @ 855-282-8073. I was hold from 1:31 pm - 2:44 pm before anyone answered.
Jean then answered and stated she "would check to see if a refund was possible." I told her that there was no if, a refund would be issued. She then stated she would be back on the line in a couple of minutes. WTH? Upon her return, again, she started to ask "if I would be interested in still trying the antenna...." I interrupted her with a "NO, just say your refund will be $52.90. Thank you. Goodbye." She said " Well, that's what I was going to say." I hung up....I checked my PayPal account daily until 02/08/2019...nothing.
So I called customer service @ 855-282-8073 (these 2 words are a joke for this company) again. This time it was Ann after I was on hold yet again for 1 hour 17 minutes. Ann went to check with Jean on my refund. When Ann returned to the phone, she said: "Jean processed your refund on 02/05/2019. Just give it time, maybe 10 more days before it credits your account."
I said "that was unacceptable because: #1. it didn't take them that long to take my money . #2. it doesn't take that long to credit money and #3 I am tired of dealing with you & the procrastination. Thank God for PayPal. I will tell them what you said and they can deal with you".....My voice got a little loud .Okay a lot loud.
I hung up almost 2 hours after dialing the number! Not 2 minutes later, Ann was calling my house. I yelled at her not to be calling me that it was now in PayPal's resolution Center and hung up on her. I clicked on my email account 2 seconds later (to drag/drop the file to PayPal) and guess what? I had an email informing me that I had a credit to my PayPal account!! WOW!!!! PayPal carries some weight....
Isn't a shame that everyday citizens who work hard for their money have to go to extreme measures to get refunds from these lousy fly by night companies or an end to their ridiculousness. I too was ripped off by this company, filed a complaint with PayPal, escalated it to a case and voila!received my antenna, screencaster within a few days - interesting timing, don’t you think? I followed the directions for settting up the internet connection with the password given and it was impossible to set up with that password. So my products do not work. I will try PayPal again, but do not hold out much hope.

I immediately hit the back button and it returned me to the final page where I just checked Pay Pal and entered again. The same "Oops " screen appeared. At this point, I thought there was something wrong with the site and did not attempt again.
A few days later, two charges appeared on my Pay Pal credit account. I immediately called Pay Pal and explained the situation. I told them that I would receive one order and refuse the second order. I left instructions with my secretary to do just that when the shipments came in. She was instructed to receive the first box and refuse the second. Upon my return from vacation, I had a box waiting for me. When I opened it, the box contained 8 pairs of insoles. I only needed 4, so I wanted to return 4.
After the receipt of the box and analyzing the situation, I Googled this company, Strong Current Enterprises Limited and realized that they are in the habit of scamming their customers. The Pay Pal site alone has over 50 complaints on this company, other sites on the internet have numerous complaints as well. It has been hell to work with the Pay Pal dispute department! First of all, they outsource this department to foreign countries and I feel that sometimes what you are explaining or saying gets lost in translation. Secondly, their suggestion on how to handle this dispute was all over the place. The time I have lost every time a dispute got denied has been countless.
1. Let's start by the fact that Pay Pal should protect their customers and if they have all these complaints on the same company, they should cancel their merchant services. I'm sure they are racking up a lot of money with all the fraudulant transactions from this company.
2. Strong Current Enterprises Limited, charged twice with the false pretense that orders were not being processed. I wonder how many people are scammed this way?
Strong Current Enterprises Limited knows this is not a mistake as a person who wanted 8 pairs of insoles would have ordered all together to get a much better price.
3. Both orders shipped in same box so that they can not be returned. They tell Pay Pal that customer did receive all products and they have a tracking number.
4. There are no numbers that work for this companies customer service.
I will be placing my complaint with IC3.gov and also placing a complaint with the BBB and local authorities.
It is rediculous that a company can continue to scam others daily.

I totally agree and will be cancelling my contract with paypal and I've been using them for about 10 years. I bought the antennae and amplifier neither of which work and they have ignored all attempts for my request for refund. On top of that paypal have closed my dispute. This is fraud on a huge scale and should be investigated by the police as paypal are unwilling to do anything about it.
I ordered one antenna for 34.99 and the same day they billed me for another one for 35.74. I never recived the 2nd one and I did not order it. There is no way to contact them.

I purchased a FoxTv antenna from this company and it is not picking up many stations. I want to return it but they told me I had to send it to the Netherlands, which makes no sense since it came out of California. I tried contacting them again to see if they would reimburse me for the shipping costs, which is going to be over $30. No response from them. I ordered 3 tv antenna for the kid's room. they did arrive but did not work. got an address in Netherlands to send them back which i did. the address is bogus. it cost me £15 to ship, them three weeks get an email from a freight company saying the address does not exist and asking another £15 to get them back. all in all, I am out of pocket £120. I saw a Facebook ad and started order process for TVFox antenna. Before completing the order, a pop-up for additional amplifier (which I did not want) came up. I didn't see a way to decline so decided to just abandon order. I had selected PayPay as method of payment and they took funds and finalized order anyway. I bought a bogus HDTV Receiver called an Antenna (Live Wire) that is supposed to get a person 150 channel HDTV channels and free cable using your house's electrical wiring as a large antenna. Do not buy this item it doesn't work and is a complete ripoff.
Purchased three TVFox HDTV antennas and an amplifier.

When I called the customer service line multiople times to arrange a refund,each time I recieved a recording to leave my information and a representative would get back to me. NEVER HAPPENED.
But if you call and choose the option to order another antenna , someone answers immediately. If you ask to be transfered to the reyturns department you are forwarded to the same recorded message.

Item 1 was a TV Box £35.74. Item 2 was a Amplifier £34.99 that I cancelled on the same date October 23rd they acknowledged this but still debited my account.
Pay Pal were able to recover from them £35.74 for the TV Box, but there is still the outstanding amount of £34.99 owed to me that Stong Current Enterprises have ignored my request for a refund.
Order and paid for 1 x Superboost Wifi adapter back on the 11th May 2020. Haven't received it yet after numerous emails sent without any confirmation of the email equiries. No Customer Service. I suspect a SCAM.

This Chinese company specializes in fake advertising, they go all out, creating mini movies prior to a youtube video about the inception of their cheap, fake, worthless, and non existent products. They have dozens & dozens of websites advertising their products. Slick advertising making them appear to be product reviews. It looks like they keep coming up with new products all the time.
Portable a/c's wearable a/c's. They have a lot of complaint's on Paypal, BBB, the government internet fraud dept., "complaintsboard.com
This seems to go back for a number of years and paypal & amazon aid them.

Defective product with no way to return and when you call, the recording says no representatives are available, ever, no matter how many times you call. I did receive one email but when i asked for a return address, no response. I too was ripped off by this company, filed a complaint with PayPal, escalated it to a case and voila!received my antenna, screencaster within a few days - interesting timing, don’t you think? I followed the directions for settting up the internet connection with the password given and it was impossible to set up with that password. So my products do not work. I will try PayPal again, but do not hold out much hope.

Ordered 2 antennas and just put a complaint in to paypal for non delivery of items. No sooner had I done this when the postie arrived with my antennas, and yes they work. Have just apologised to the company. My order was a long time coming and I’d read a few comments from buyer and assumed I’d been scammed. Turns out I hadn’t.
When I originally saw the ad for these insoles, I figured it would be great for my family . I decided to order 4 pairs, as they had a bulk price.. the more you ordered, the better the price. I placed the order for the 4 pairs and when I finished entering the Pay Pal info and completed the transaction, it took me to another screen that said "OOps... your order did not go through". I immediately hit the back button and it returned me to the final page where I just checked Pay Pal and entered again. The same "Oops " screen appeared. At this point, I thought there was something wrong with the site and did not attempt again.
A few days later, two charges appeared on my Pay Pal credit account. I immediately called Pay Pal and explained the situation. I told them that I would receive one order and refuse the second order. I left instructions with my secretary to do just that when the shipments came in. She was instructed to receive the first box and refuse the second. Upon my return from vacation, I had a box waiting for me. When I opened it, the box contained 8 pairs of insoles. I only needed 4, so I wanted to return 4.
After the receipt of the box and analyzing the situation, I Googled this company, Strong Current Enterprises Limited and realized that they are in the habit of scamming their customers. The Pay Pal site alone has over 50 complaints on this company, other sites on the internet have numerous complaints as well. It has been hell to work with the Pay Pal dispute department! First of all, they outsource this department to foreign countries and I feel that sometimes what you are explaining or saying gets lost in translation. Secondly, their suggestion on how to handle this dispute was all over the place. The time I have lost every time a dispute got denied has been countless.
1. Let's start by the fact that Pay Pal should protect their customers and if they have all these complaints on the same company, they should cancel their merchant services. I'm sure they are racking up a lot of money with all the fraudulant transactions from this company.
2. Strong Current Enterprises Limited, charged twice with the false pretense that orders were not being processed. I wonder how many people are scammed this way?
Strong Current Enterprises Limited knows this is not a mistake as a person who wanted 8 pairs of insoles would have ordered all together to get a much better price.
3. Both orders shipped in same box so that they can not be returned. They tell Pay Pal that customer did receive all products and they have a tracking number.
4. There are no numbers that work for this companies customer service.
I will be placing my complaint with IC3.gov and also placing a complaint with the BBB and local authorities.
It is rediculous that a company can continue to scam others daily.

I totally agree and will be cancelling my contract with paypal and I've been using them for about 10 years. I bought the antennae and amplifier neither of which work and they have ignored all attempts for my request for refund. On top of that paypal have closed my dispute. This is fraud on a huge scale and should be investigated by the police as paypal are unwilling to do anything about it.

I purchased a FoxTv antenna from this company and it is not picking up many stations. I want to return it but they told me I had to send it to the Netherlands, which makes no sense since it came out of California. I tried contacting them again to see if they would reimburse me for the shipping costs, which is going to be over $30. No response from them. I tried going through PayPal where I payed for it with no success. I only had 30 day to return it so now I am stuck with this. When I tried calling there customer support number, it said there was no one available to take my call. What kind of customer service is that???
They offered me free hd tv by antenna (legal) and i payed them via Paypal. £35.74. Ihave emailed Paypal but got ns satisfaction . Its been 12 days now and they are very unhelpful. Thi must be a scam and i think they KNOW it .

I ordered 3 tv antenna for the kid's room. they did arrive but did not work. got an address in Netherlands to send them back which i did. the address is bogus. it cost me £15 to ship, them three weeks get an email from a freight company saying the address does not exist and asking another £15 to get them back. all in all, I am out of pocket £120. Paypal seems to have washed their hand of it and tell me to get in touch with the company, which I have on numerous occasions

Sold me 4 antennas that don't work. False advertisement and no customer service information in the package. I had to spend several days to find them. They will not respond to me. These were Christmas gifts too.
The antenna will not work in my area. I comes with a phone number for support but no one ever answers the phone or calls back. The web site is none exhisting. I paid $39.31 through my Pay Pal account.
I saw a Facebook ad and started order process for TVFox antenna. Before completing the order, a pop-up for additional amplifier (which I did not want) came up. I didn't see a way to decline so decided to just abandon order. I had selected PayPay as method of payment and they took funds and finalized order anyway. I realized within hours and emailed to ask that order be CANCELLED and that my money be REFUNDED.
This was six days ago and still no response. I have emailed three times. I do not want this product and I want my money refunded. I notified them within 24 hours and they should have accepted my cancellation right away.
I saw this ad for a uv-c sterilizer wand, and like an idiot, i ordered some. This was in early april. The end of may rolls around and i still don't have any merchandise, or even a tracking # to show it's been shipped. So i opened a dispute with paypal. Sc replies and offers me a 10% discount for the inconvenience. Now, when you open a dispute with paypal, read everything they send you. In my case i was informed that i had until june 4th to escalate the dispute to a claim, or the dispute would be automatically closed, and i would not be allowed to re-file if the items never came. I began to suspect that this 10% off offer was designed to keep me from escalating to a claim until the clock ran out on june 4th. Of course they'll offer me 10% off if they're not planning on sending me anything anyway. I escalated to a claim several days before the deadline. I'm waiting on paypal to receive a replay from sc. I assume that if sc never responds, paypal will find in my favor, but we'll see.
I bought a bogus HDTV Receiver called an Antenna (Live Wire) that is supposed to get a person 150 channel HDTV channels and free cable using your house's electrical wiring as a large antenna. When I got the item I could immediatel tell that it was a scam as the item is mostly made of plastic and is extremely light in weight.
This company opperates under the name of Strong Enterprises and as Swell ECOOM Enterprises. Their phone number 609-256-4523 comes up as being located in Laruel Springs, NJ. From what I can tell, payment goes to the bank account of Swell ECOOM Enterprises in Laruel Springs, NJ and the the item is mailed from Strong Current Enterpirses in Pacoima, CA. Do not buy this item it doesn't work and is a complete ripoff.

Purchased three TVFox HDTV antennas and an amplifier.
Was advertised that this unit would pick up hundreds of free HD TV channels.
It picked up only seven foreign language channels.
When I called the customer service line multiople times to arrange a refund,each time I recieved a recording to leave my information and a representative would get back to me. NEVER HAPPENED.
But if you call and choose the option to order another antenna , someone answers immediately. If you ask to be transfered to the reyturns department you are forwarded to the same recorded message.

On October 23rd I ordered 2 items from Strong Current Enterprises. Nether of the items arrived.
Item 1 was a TV Box £35.74. Item 2 was a Amplifier £34.99 that I cancelled on the same date October 23rd they acknowledged this but still debited my account.
Pay Pal were able to recover from them £35.74 for the TV Box, but there is still the outstanding amount of £34.99 owed to me that Stong Current Enterprises have ignored my request for a refund.
I Bought this antenna and could not get it to receive a signal , I have found it impossible to get in contact with the firm to get a refund

Order and paid for 1 x Superboost Wifi adapter back on the 11th May 2020. Haven't received it yet after numerous emails sent without any confirmation of the email equiries. No Customer Service. I suspect a SCAM.

This Chinese company specializes in fake advertising, they go all out, creating mini movies prior to a youtube video about the inception of their cheap, fake, worthless, and non existent products. They have dozens & dozens of websites advertising their products. Slick advertising making them appear to be product reviews. It looks like they keep coming up with new products all the time.

This seems to go back for a number of years and paypal & amazon aid them.

Same thing happened to us. Only ordered one, charged for 3. I tried to cancel order with Paypal but they refused. 60 days later it shows up after I disputed it with my credit card. No information on how to return, nothing. paypal is complicit i scamming customers. Paypal account is closed.
After attempting tp purchase item i chose to pay with paypal after entering paypal info i was sent back to strong website where i was informed my card had been declined. And yet when i went back to paypal to find out why card was declined, i discovered i had been charged twice for the item i was attempting to purchase but had never completed the checkout process. But after seeing the number of complaints against them on line i don't hold much hope in a response from them.

I ordered 2antennas from Strong Current in May 2019 neither of them worked so l returned them l have been in touch with them about my refund about 10 times with no answer from them,PayPal did not want to know so now in September l am still waiting for my refund as they claim they have not recieved the antennas back,l have never dealt with such a rip of merchants ,as anybody been to Trading Standards about them l am .
Tried to contact .Multiple times. Unable to speak with anyone. Out almost $100.
I ordered 3 antennas for a total of $73. A coat hanger would have gotten better reception. I found their Facebook page (which is full of bad reviews), and contacted them. They told me to send it back, sent me the address.
I followed their instructions exactly. Two weeks later, they are asking for a tracking number. I logically assumed they had received the package on time and no longer have the number. I am sure they'll refuse to make a refund through my PayPal account.

Defective product with no way to return and when you call, the recording says no representatives are available, ever, no matter how many times you call. I did receive one email but when i asked for a return address, no response. It took 2 months to receive it and i immediately tried to return it but it doesn’t take long to realize they don’t accept returns but they got their or rather, my money immediately. Also, their advertising is false. It says,” no set up,” which is clearly not true because it included instructions! what a shame, and they are still ripping people off and we have no recourse. I did not want them at that late a date. I wanted to return them and get the money back either by credit to my visa or a check form the company by requesting a return slip with the amount to be returned for all three. I had tried calling at leaast five times and was placed on a cue over ten min each time and no contact! i subsequently documented my request by e-mail dec 10th, a second e-mail Including the first e-mai and again dec13th.
