There is a Google review by Melissa Sturgis, wherein they are claiming she is me. I'M NOT MELISSA STURGIS, but she is my daughter, and we are protected under free speach, to voice our review of how your poor business practices affected us on a financial level. By not verifying your information, and not renting me a house, after being promised for more than 30 days, you cost me, and my potential co renter, thousand's of dollars. I lost my job, and had to relocate, since I had zero notice of you changing your mind about renting me the home I was currently occupying, or by placing me in a different home since you had our security deposit, therefore rendering me homeless.
You are unable to sue either of us (thanks for the threats.) for libel (not slander) since we are both telling the truth, and I have kept evidence, so that when I get the income, I can visit an attorney to discuss the situation and to review my losses. Being a bully, and not taking care of you properties /renters is what is getting you poor reviews. Your company is one of the reasons the review section on Google exists so others can be informed if a company is ethical or not, and in my experience your employees were neither ethical or professional.
Also, the person I was in dispute with was feeding you lies, and causing drama. There was no way to resolve the dispute, that didn't involve me responsible for the damage. Both your company, and her, were attempting to make me responsible for thousands of dollars of damage to the home, by the tennant, my former friend, who had occupied the home for 4 years prior to this issue, and her attempts at "repairs at 10 pm" made the place worse. Not to mention the broken refrigerator for a few months, and the toilet backing up into the house often, and for years, made the house disgusting.
There was one sided unnecessary drama, that could have been avoided, but your employees choose to create more drama, and not follow through gathering factual evidence about the situation before you choose to make me the enemy. I choose to keep my mouth shut until I saw your post to my daughter, now you have another bad Google review to attempt to threaten..

I have a contract, voided checks, emails, and photos to prove each and every statement should we end up in court.
I am not afraid of your statements, and believe they are showing your professional character as a company that does irresponsible business practices. consumers have a right to know ,and I will no longer be quiet about it! Now I will post on every public forum I can find. You can take the 8 days you gave me to take down my review, and place them where the sun doesn't shine, I will not be bullied one second more by this situation, and I will not be bullied into silence.
Do not waste your time here, Blake is pathetic and will scream at you your first day in because of your concerns about the unkept house and then when you move out and do everything you're supposed to then he takes your entire deposit through loopholes in contracts! Also don't waste your time with Prestige Property Management. Both are very unprofessional. It's nice now that I, and my prior roommates, cant count on our deposit money that would be used towards school, food, and the medical bills of a young beautiful baby girl. Blake makes his money through scamming and cheating out poor college kids and many others.
On June 13th I reached out to Blake Cozzens who works for Stress Free Management LLC in Cedar City, Utah as I am relocating to the area. I paid the require upfront fees of $645.00 for first months rent, application fee and deposit. I arrange to come to Utah to see the property and Blake met me there to show me the home and my living arrangements on June 16th. The home was filthy, the yard was unkempt and not suitable for my small dog. To make matters worse I was to live on the same floor with a man whom I've never met and found this unacceptable. I am recently divorced and have limited funds. I expressed my concerns to Blake Cozzens’s who was unsympathetic and claims he told me of the man living on the same floor. But clearly the ad (See below) does not claim a man would be living in the home with two other women. I had a different impression of Cedar City, Utah and their Christian values. I viewed the home on the 16th of June three days later and he refused to refund my money. I am so disappointed that he was unable to see my concern with living in the same house as a man I've never met. His decision will have an adverse affect on my ability to pay my monthly bills. I am not from this area and have no one to turn to for support. I would caution anyone to be careful when dealing with Blake Cozzens of "Stress Free Management"; my experience was anything but stress free.
