Pretty obvious after a few minutes it wasn't going to work. It was too complicated for me to start cutting into my grill it needed to be done by a professional.
I visited 2 local body shops, a local custom truck accessory dealer, which I should have gone to first and a local mechanic.
The body shops said they wouldn't touch it because it would never look right and I and they would not be satisified with the end result.
I contacted the supplier, APS autoparts before contacting streetbeatcustoms.com and the rep said according to their engineers it would fit.
Well, it won't. I've seen other Ford trucks it would probably fit on w/o any modifications to the existing grille.
I then contacted streetbeatcustoms.com, what a con. Basically they wash their hands of the whole affair. "Sorry, according to our supplier (APS) it fits."
I was out $58 for the part and $40 on shipping. To return, another $40 and a 20% restocking fee of a part that doesn't fit my truck.
Total sham.
The person I talked w/was the acting manager and there are no exceptions to the return policy or restocking fee.
Funny since they are in Minneapolis and the supplier is in California.
I found out streetbeatcustoms.com is an alias for Kasa Auto Parts which has numerous complaints on file w/the Better Bussiness Bureau and this site.
So internet buyers beware I wouldn't recommend doing business with either company and I have my doubts about APS auto parts too!
