We bought a used car under the impression it was in good working order and all requried reparis/maintence had been done. Shortly after getting home I noticed a strong transmission kick when driving the van. I reported it to the dealer within a month of first purchasing. About a month later I brought the van in to our local Honda dealer and was told factory warrenty was expired and extended warrenty didn't cover the needed $420 charge.
It was a 17-043 Sevice Bulletin released by honda. So this car was sold to me with this exsisting issue. Manager said it was missed beacuse they are not the honda part of the dealership. Also our local dealer informed us that the rear brakes needed to be replaced shortly beacuse they were almost completely worn 4ml remaining at2ml you need to replace.This is antoher big bill. I contacted Straub again to see if they would help. They said I'm sorry nothing we can do.. I informed manager that if you don't do the right thing I will post about this. He told me to have a nice day. If you do decide to purchase from this dealer make sure to have an independent mechanic look at your car. Pay the $100 could save you a small fortune.
