Strande's supposedly put a new a/c compressor in my daughter's car, charged $1007.00 and the a/c went out one month later. With my daughter working full time and going to college I could not get the car back up there. Also didn't need a/c in the winter. I had my car looked at a few days ago by a reputable mechanic and was advised the work was done poorly and the repairs should be under warranty. Instead of offering to fix the repairs Strands wants to charge $850 for a compressor kit that doesn't need to be replaced.
