Straightline Builders, Inc. Reviews
Straightline Builders Inc. hired us as Sub contractors and never paid us a dime for our services. We spent over $14k on materials and labor and were never compensated.

Straightline Builders hired Handyman Specialists Inc to paint a commercial TI job.
They showed up on the job with rollers and brushes and no ladders or lifts to paint a 25 foot high deck, pipes, wires and conduits. This would be like bringing one match to cook your steak dinner! They needed a sprayer and a lift.
We got them straighten out and provide them a lift (that they never paid for) and they started painting!! Then we found out they had the wrong paint!! They told us they couldn’t buy the right paint as they had no credit. So WE bought the correct paint and supplies.
They delayed our job by more than a week and never compiled the deck paint. Had they completed that portion of the work it would have been 25% of their contract for a value of $5000.00.
Handyman Specialists totally came unprepared, with the wrong equipment and materials. They did not keep the schedule agreed to in their contract and are now demanding they be paid over 75% of their original contract for not even completing 25% of the work (of which we provided the materials)
Handyman is some one that demands to be compensated extra because of their amateur blunders. Had they showed up with the proper equipment and materials they would not have cost everyone extra time and money.
Most people would not think that they are owed extra for their mistakes. They would have enough honor, self-respect and honesty to admit their mistakes; correct them, learn and grow from them.
In dealing with this issue I have talked to several lawyers that know Handyman’s owner. I have discovered that this is his modus operandi. He hires other people to do his work, work they have no business doing, mess up projects and then hire lawyers!
I invite all to check out Handyman’s history and ours. No one is perfect but we admit our mistakes and correct them, even if it is painful (or expensive)
