I have been receiving postcards (yellow and white) for the past two years from this scam "company" located at varying addresses in Santa Fe with varying phone numbers, with the following wording:
Top side of postcard:
"Please turn this card over for a very important message about your property at 7459 Prairie Rd. NE. We MUST hear from you soon!"
Flip side of postcard:
"We urgently need to speak with you about your property at 7459 Prairie Rd. NE and it's (sic) potential trtansfer of ownership. To expedite this we've recorded a brief message about this private matter."
Please call (888) 715-9530 to listen to a very important and urgent message. You can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to listen to your message.
Please listen to our recording as soon as possible."
I called their recorded number a year ago from a BLOCKED PHONE to inform them to stop sending these notices. They RETURNED MY BLOCKED CALL.
I spoke with City of ABQ property taxes division at that time and they said these notices are harassing and to contact the New Mexico State Attorney General. Because I was busy at the time, I postponed contacting the state AG.
After receiving YET AGAIN another of these scam postcards recently, I sent the postcard and a written complaint to the New Mexico State Attorney General and am in touch with a representative. She suggested I file this report among other solutions. I will be following up with her as I continue to receive these harassing scam postcards in the mail.
I believe these scammers are targeting seniors who are living alone and they are obtaining their data from public property ownership and real estate records.
