My children got me a groupon offer for a remote start system from Absolute Audio up until recently had a Syracuse Store. Their main store in in Elbridge. Set up the appointment on 12/28/2016 and got there at the appointed time. I told them this was a new truck to me and it was my baby. Please be careful with it. We went to the mall and got a call that the truck was done . When we picked it up the owners brother informed me that they had broken the dash bezel getting it off. I was informed they get brittle over time , but Rich stated it should not have happened. He stated the would order the new one and have it installed in a week. This whole time the remote start they did put in was going into panic mode every time I started it. They determined it was a disengage wire that was the problem. This was only fixed a week ago. It is now 03/17/2017. I have had over four appointments cancelled. At least 50 phone calls never returned. Emails not returned. Yesterday I make a 25 mile round trip to be there for a confirmed appointment and they had no part and the owner was not there. Their response was: Make another appointment!! I think these people have the worst customer service you could imagine. You can tell they just want to get you off the phone and not deal with you. Their priorities are not aligned with the customer. Now here it is 03/17/2017 still no dash replacement. Yesterday I drove 25 miles for a confirmed appointment and they had no dash to install and the onwner was not there. Their response was make another appointment for next Thursday. If you want good customer service after the sale this is not where you want to go. They are competent, honest but from my experience they have no respect for the cutomer once you pay for your install. I would not under any circumstances do business with them again. It turns out its really Absolute BS. They never give even the minimum amount of coutesy on returning calls or email. They said the dash was ready to pick up at the local dealership. I called this A.M. No such order-straight out lied. This is a HORRIBLE operation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! For three months this company has never bothered to attempt to resolve this. If you want shoddy work and damage to your car --these are the people to deal with.
