Stellar Property Mgmt. Owned and run by James & Jennifer Boyd manage rental properties who claim to be "A STEP ABOVE THE REST" but truth is they are bottom dwellers that prey on unsuspecting families who make the potentially fatal mistake of renting a house from them!
Our nightmare began on day one when we signed our lease and were stupid enough to trust James Boyd when he gave his word that before weeks end he would treat an infestation of wasp in our attic which our daughter has an anaphylactic allergy to, in addition to promising to repair the back iron door that was locked by the previous tenant who took the only key with them (the door was the only access to the backyard and rear exit in the event of a fire or other emergency) however he was not true to his word and days became weeks, weeks became months until we finally spent the money to fix things ourselves but things didn't end there, in fact they worsened from having to call repeatedly before our A/C unit was installed and many other repairs that we're simple fixes but ignored which included a pipe leaking that flooded our hallway that was hardwood forcing us to go to a hotel for several days while we rented industrial fans to dry out the floor but not before the mold started growing! Then came the heat nightmare... on our first cold night we were shocked to find that we had no heat but our repeated calls, text and emails everyday of November and December were ignored with the exception of a phone call from the supposed maintenance supervisor (who is also a self- proclaimed reformed pedophile and drug addict who had been in recovery for 3 months yet given keys to multiple properties) where he informed us the company was having financial problems and were not making any repairs.
During this time my family of 6 slept/lived in one room using space heaters and then the nightmare got worse... we discovered multiple electrical outlets suddenly stopped working and some showed signed of burn marks but once again our pleas for help from our so- called landlords were ignored so after seeking legal advice we discovered we legally had the right to withhold rent until the repairs were made. We took detailed steps to ensure we were following the law but we missed the fine print that said we were to inform them by certified letter and although we had emailed them and sent a letter in the mail it wasnt enough to stop them from filing for an immediate eviction so we went from being the victim to suddenly defending ourselves from these monsters who in research we discovered that we weren't the first or only family they'd done this to, in fact there were several who were victimized by James and Jennifer Boyd allowing them to steal families rent money, force them out of their homes, have court cost and judgements added to their credit and finally giving them the final rip off of keeping the security deposit then within days having the houses back on the market!
During the weeks of court dates Jennifer Boyd made several threats that included how she planned to destroy my family, our ability to rent from anywhere again because we challenged her after she warned us not to fu*k with her! She is a monster who hides behind a phone number, email address and P.O. BOX while sending her slave ignorant husband to do her dirty work and her path of damage is too long to list! Renting from them is a mistake and one that will destroy your future renting ability and damage your credit! I have contacted the BBB and will be contacting the local news and news papers! Renters beware... STELLAR PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WILL EAT YOU UP AND SPIT YOU OUT BECAUSE JAMES AND JENNIFER BOYD ARE DEMONS STEALING FROM THE INNOCENT AND HURTING ANYONE WHO STANDS IN THE WAY!
