DO NOT use this so called "super producer" by the name of Jamaine Banks. He is the owner of a fake company called START YOUR OWN BUSINESS. He is the son of Larry Banks who also run a scam business called Banks brothers productions. Jamaine works out of Houston Media Source which is located at 410 Roberts St, Houston, TX 77003, his phone number is 713-922-7696. He will lie and tell you that he owns the Houston Media Source studio when in actuality he does not. He only rents the airtime which a lot of legitimitate producers do or better yet anyone can rent the Houston Media Source. This so call producer is known to seduce new up and coming female business owners by selling you a fraudulent dream to steal your money that he will get you your own television show and film a commercial for you that will air on all major urban television cable networks. He even went as far as to put the logos of all of the urban cable networks on his business cards to fool people that he is a “producer” with the networks in order for people to do business with him (which is illegal because you can’t have a company or a major company network logo on your advertisement without that company/network permission). Which you can contact the television networks customer service numbers of the logos that he is illegally using on his business cards to win you over & they too will inform you that they never heard of him. Nor does his business cards has a physical address on it, or any website, but instead their personal email address which is [email protected] that alone is a give a way right there. What “legit” business does not have an address on their business cards but instead uses their personal email address, REALLY…[email protected]...(stop fooling people) so that you can have a necessary way of contacting their supposedly “legitimate” business other than their personal number & in his case it’s his cellular number not even a business number SMDH. NOTE TO SELF ALWAYS ASK FOR RECEIPTS OF ANY PERSON WORK, which if they was legit their work will be accessible online as well as a website which of course they DO NOT have as a so called legitimate business, especially one that is called “START YOUR OWN BUSINESS”. I mean show us your work online on a legitimate website so that we can easily have access too.
This jamaine banks will go above and beyond just to take a picture with any high end people in Houston and then post it on his social media page to fool people that he knows ALLLLLL of these people personally & that he has worked with them, which is another way he builds his resume to fooling his next victim. It appears that he chooses his victim randomly which is why he does not mess with any man or do business with any man because he knows the consequences of cheating another man & a real man at that. Which is why ALL of his victims are all female entrepreneurs. jamaine banks will tell you anything that you want to hear just to get your money, which he does not provide any legal documentations or receipts after collecting your money from you to film a so call tv segments that he promise you that will help to promote your new business or even television commercials; that he does not even actually films or airs. Recently myself and some girlfriends drove in from St. Louis to Houston, TX where he promised us that we will have our own television show. After collecting our money and coming down to Houston, TX to film our so called television show that was supposed to air and boost our business this so called “producer” as he calls himself jamaine banks kept giving us the run arounds, not answering or returning our calls, no television show, or even returning our money.
It was later that we discovered that this is how he and his wife by the name of anika sheree phillips banks (which he met and married straight out of the penitentiary within 17 days of meeting her while walking wandering on the streets, which he proudly brags about). anika sheree phillips banks works hand in hand with him and makes a living by scamming female entrepreneurs along side with her husband of 17 days jamaine banks. Myself and my group of girlfriends that came to Houston to meet with the so called producer jamaine banks, one of my girlfriends found out that this jamaine banks is a 3X convicted felon who led the Houston police on a chase back in 2010. Which he was indicted of aggravated assault of a public servant, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and evading arrest with a vehicle.He is charged with Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer, Felony Evading with a Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Firearm (Convicted Felon). Additionally Harris County will be adding charges of their own.Banks has a lengthy criminal history.
On September 21, 2009 he was sentenced to 10 years probation for DWI. His deceitful actions have caused him to gain soooo many enemies throughout Texas, Lousianna, and now St. Louis of knowingly fraudulently taking people money.
