I made a poor business decision to not check out the reviews on Square Feat before I started doing business with them. I have had great luck with many companies contracting cleaning work and just took it for granted that Square Feat would be 'normal' in business & fair-spirited. I won’t make that mistake again and would encourage all to take that exploratory step first for the well-being of your business and tell your friends.
It is my experience that if you do business with Square Feat that sooner or later they will take advantage of you for their gain and your loss. I see that others have experienced that before me now as I look over numerous various complaints online. There are many different unhappy cleaning contractors and disgruntled companies that they are booking cleanings for.
This concerns me as I try to collect what is owing to my company for past Square Feat contract cleaning work ($9014.00). There is at this point a minimum of cooperation from them as I get ready for mitigation first and then litigation next. Apparently they have real difficulty or don’t understand how to send me electronic spreadsheets from bookkeeping of the work that was done and money that should have been paid since we started with them; a large portion of which they haven’t paid. I am also considering other steps before or after mitigation to get their accounting opened up before a third party audit such as maybe the IRS or other to get answers as to their accounting and paying/tax-paying practices. Square Feat goes through bookkeepers at an astonishing rate…I wonder why that might be? I've met 3 or 4 since we started. I suspect their morality kicks in with reality--I guess someone would have to ask them to see what they'd say. I am just starting this online conversation now to warn others and to get comments and maybe action from others who have been harmed or are being harmed for their sake.
If you have been wronged already I would encourage you to stand up and defend yourself. Don’t sign any documents with Square Feat unless you have passed them before an attorney. Make sure the contracts are not predatory to you. I can be reached to put you in touch with an attorney that can review any contracts in Arizona on a free consultation. If there are enough people interested it may be an option to start a class action lawsuit. Some may choose to look at putting a ‘mechanics lien’ on the Square Feat company for work done and not paid for. If you have been wronged feel free to express yourself to Square Feat management and their staff to get answers. Feel free to post your thoughts online and get feedback. Feel free to discuss with your attorney any issues you have or had. If you are working on Square Feat cleaning contracts now, talk to those other Square Feat cleaners you know who work for them presently and in the past and compare notes. Talk to the former Square Feat accounting ladies you stay in touch with. Something this important makes me feel like we should organize a peaceful protest in front of their building on paydays to make others aware. The truth has its way of making its way to the surface which is great!
For starters I will post here, on the BBB (Better Business Bureau) as well as Google, Yelp, Yellow Pages online, Facebook and others. Where there is injustice going on I believe people wronged should unite together to make things right for themselves and others and if people deserve to be praised they should be. I am certainly willing to gather all complaints and kudos at [email protected]
If there are wrongs done let’s work together at getting unpaid folks paid. Companies should be held to a standard to do the right thing by the press and by society’s actions. Good press will help a company and bad press will hurt them. All press should be fair and factual. I also started websites at www.squarefeatcomplaints.com and www.squarefeatcomplaints.online to expand exposure for our voices. I will be sure to post in Spanish as well. The above is just my opinion thus far and hasn’t been proven as of yet as I haven’t reached mitigation or litigation so please keep that in mind. Looking forward to next posts.
