For all of you trying to get your money back or stop subscription- just call your cc company or bank if using debit card and tell them to block payment. I would also tell your bank they are scamming. There products are not really products as much of there information they are giving to us is not even correct. They cannot even get players pricing right-so right there you know there is a problem
I signed up a month ago to see what their "pro picks" were for a few games. (Their "pros" were wrong over 60% of the time, by the way). So I chalked it up to $10 wasted and went to cancel my account. . . They do not allow cancellations online or even through email. You MUST call their 800 number to cancel. After 20 minutes the recorded message says that there's no one available to take my call and please email their support staff. So I called again and have been on hold for another 30 minutes. . . Got the same recorded message about no one being able to take my call.
Total scam!!!
If I can't get my account cancelled soon, I'll be taking this up with the states attorney general in Fort Lauderdale, where they are ostensibly located. . .
I'm currently on hold attempting to cancel my membership, which may or may not even be possible. Unlike basically every other site in the world, you can't cancel online.
This is the third time I've tried in the last two days, the last two times I've waited on hold for a half hour before being informed that there are no agents to assist me and I should try again later. I'm at the point of cancelling my credit card, even though that's a huge nuisance, rather than deal with this any more.
Sportsline Pro makes it extremely difficult to unsubscribe. I searched for 30 minutes to find the "How to Unsubscribe", found that I was able to sign up for this account online but had to call a 1-888-508-3055 number to cancel.
I'm met with a cheap (sketchy) sounding recording of a guy telling me to hold on the line to cancel my account.
15 minutes of an infuriating guitar loop later, still nobody has answered the phone...I hate it when a company simply tries to aggravate a customer to the point where it's not worth it or not possible to stay on the line for 30 minutes to wait to cancel their $10/month subscription.
This process should be fixed. I don't need a tele-representative to cancel my accounts anywhere else in the world. This service is supposedly affiliated with CBS, so they should know about the sketchy operation Sportsline is running too.
