SPN Search Reviews
SPN Search claims proprietary software setup that allows a person's website to appear at the top of one's search on Google, Bing etc for specific keywords used in searches. Their claim was if we purchased the keyword term then we would receive some 12000 visits to our website from those doing those searches per month. They said that by paying through Paypal there would be no problem getting a refund should we be dissatisfied with their company. Having used Paypal for years he mistakenly believed that we weren't taking any big risk so we used a BAC credit card to make an $899 payment to them.
Supposedly we were to receive access to a user account. This never happened. We never received any password to such an account. We emailed and called them for a couple weeks with no response. We received numerous emails from them prior to agreeing to give them a try. Only after filing this dispute did they then try to claim they had sent email responses and tried to claim they must have been in our spam folder. Well these were simply fake emails as they were never received in any form anywhere. Our account was never set up at all. But besides that the whole thing was a scam and an outright lie.
This company does not deliver anything to a customer. They use fake statistics to claim that you are getting the guaranteed traffic. But our webmaster for our website and knows what he is doing. It is created with Word Press software which has a built-in statistics tracker id. Our website has a code in its header section which allows Google to track traffic and tell you specifically where that traffic came from, who was the referrer and even the exact computer that viewers used to get to your website. And no traffic ever came from the 'purchase' from SPN Search (SPS Search used simultaneously).
They have a website that is called the latter, SPSSearch.com, which makes this look legit. There are claims that are made to make you think that indeed one can get a refund if unsatisfied. They even list the BBB and say take it to them if you have a problem getting your refund. Only problem is, the link does not go to the BBB it goes to a link within their own website.
The whole thing is a complete scam. We have filed a claim against them with the FCC and have requested that their fake site be taken down. In filing and doing additional research on this company we found that many other companies have had this same exact issue with this company-- they make false claims and deliver absolutely nothing. They charge $899 which would be a fair price to pay if one got anything from them but that's the rub you actually get nothing in return for your money. The whole thing is a scam.
I was ripped off for $899! The sales rep David Roche called me to let me know I could puchase an exclusive key work phrase where my company would be listed for 18 months whenever somebody on the Netguard platform searched and clicked my key word. It sounded like a great deal, however I was skeptical and should have listened to my gut. After submitting payment via PayPal I was told I would receive back office login information to monitor my account activities, clickthroughs etc. 2 weeks went by with no response. Then I got emails from Netguards supposed support rep saying that due to security reasons they must Physically mail my password. That mail NEVER Came! I kept pleading with them to send it to me and just email it, which they never did. Then they emailed me saying they can see I logged in already, which I NEVER did! I never received anything from them whatsoever! I then contacted PayPal to open a dispute and to my surprise PayPal sided with them saying they provided me what I paid for. I was in total shock! I purchased their services on June 6th 2016 and today is August 2nd 2016 and despite 10 emails to them, they are NOW MIA and unresponsive. Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can! This is a total scam! im now going to go back to PayPal to see if I can reopen the dispute. Im so mad right now!
