Split Brown outfitter is a scam company. They false advertise on their websight they provide "Outfitter Services" but what you dont know is your paying for their 3 propertys that they lease so they the "outfitter can hunt, find the best spots then have the paying customer pay for their hunt. I paid $1750.00 for a 5 day hunt and left on the second day. Once I arrived on the property I realized then I had been lied to, everything they had told me like there "cabins" which I found out was a trashy 2 bedroom small house, there deer stands which they said were "right out the door" was not the case, not only were they 1000 yards away they were dangerous. They boast that they have managed their propertys for 10 years but come to find out they have been in business only 1 year. They also state they had CRP, turnups, wheat and Biologic food plots, but there was only corn.
Rather than take care of there paying customer on the day of the hunt they were busy hunting another property then had the nerve to text me a photo of the deer he just got? which was a 170 inch deer. Why would the outfitter be deer hunting when he is suppose to be taking care of his customer? There were very little deer signs on the property and the only deer that I witnessed was a spike buck. It was obvious to me that if there were any mature deer on the property they had all been taken on bow season by the outfitter. I am writing this to warn all hunters to avoid this business so no other hunter will have to go thru what I did.
