Spartan Paving owner Thomas Stanley came to our home to repave and extend driveway area with work order of $8,500.00 on 5/28/2015. He received downpayment of $4,250.00 by check with balance to be paid when job was completed on following week. Two days later he had large truck load of gravel delivered, dug up our yard and never returned. I tried calling to see what was going on with my work and was told that company was finishing up another job and would return following Monday. I tried calling office several times getting excuse after excuse. Our attorney contacted Derek Stanley by email and phone with no response. Finally with no return of Spartan Paving had to get dug up sod removed and gravel spread out by another contractor for family function with additional expenses that was planned prior to paving job. Mr. Stanley was informed of upcoming family affair when contract was drawn up. I have filed warrant against company in county court but sheriff was unable to serve company at address given. Company gave fake address. We notified BBB and State Attorney General with complaints also. Praying that we will get back our money one day very soon,help us please.
