The grass turns brown where the dogs elimate. He knew from the first that I have dogs, he is afraid of them and would not come into the yard until I put them in the house. I was never told the name of this grass.
Never completely cleared the flower beds of weeds. Wanted to take me to the nursery (said Sierra Vista) for bedding plants. I told him I would keep the plants I have if they clear the weeds out of the flowerbeds. They did not pull them up but took off the tops and didn't clear all the flowerbeds. There is still a problem with weeds which I am taking care of.
They said they would clean the suckers off the branches of the large trees. No ladders, man climbed up part of tree. This was not done. Trimmed Pomagranet but I stood over him for that.
I gave Jesus a bag of wild flower seeds and his men " planted them". I was not there. They did not dig up the flower bed but, I think, scattered the seeds on the hard ground and covered with compost. I asked them to use the compost. There are no flowers coming up in that flower bed.
I think the man who repaired the cinderblock planter and painted it was a sub-contracter. They called him Mr.--- His assistant did speak English. Some of the other workers did not. This was a good job. I hope it lasts. Also this man's helper painted the two walls of the patio altho his sample chart was old and didn't give an accurate color choice, I don't mind what is there. Also his helper painted the wood perabula and fence between my yard and the neighbor's yard. It is a stain and is splotchy but, this doesn't bother me.
Jesus Acosta wanted to paint the back of my house, sod my front yard, trim the pomagranet in the front yard. All of which I turned down. I told him that I was satisfied just to get rid of him.
He charged me $6,723.00 plus tax 554.00 in three payments. He then charged me $ 592.00 plus tax again to "stain fences and paint elastomnc walls". Whatever that is. In all, I was charged $3,638.00 on 3/9/18, $1,819.00 on 3/13/18, $2,459.00 on 3/21/18, A total of $7916.00
I got his name thru the Better Business Bureau Website.
I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this person. His workers did not know anything about landscaping,or gardening and he tried to manipulate me into giving him more work.
