Trickle-down corruption - A CEO who is a twice convicted felon for doing intravenous drug studies on patients without their consent or knowledge. TWICE. He never showed any remorse, not one apology. Having been stripped of his medical license in Britain he went on to ride on other people's licenses to rake in a fortune running Sovereign Health - Where for $30,000 a month you get an AA meeting directory, prison food, ice cream treats if you're good and your phone confiscated from you if you're "bad." Therapy here would be a joke if it weren't causing such patient harm, committing fraud, and being done by high school graduates and masters degree counselors with NO licensed supervision. Patients' needs are at the bottom of the totem pole here - Bilking insurance companies out of money, often fraudulently, is at the top. Admission and discharge decisions are based on money, NOT patient needs. If a patient's insurance will pay for 90 days then guess what? That patient, say non-clinically trained unlicensed administrators, NEEDS 90 days of treatment - what a coincidence! And where are the licensed mental health people? Try finding one as you walk around seeing patients with their high school therapists sitting out in open public areas with no confidentiality or privacy (att: HIPAA violation = ILLEGAL). Some places just don't make you better. This one is guaranteed to make you worse and a fraud from India richer. Do your research, due dilligence, this decision you are making is a very important one. And nobody is going to care about it as much as you need to.
