I just wanted to give my observations for the young folks we are hosting from an Eastern European (ex-Soviet Bloc). Three girls live with us. We took them in because we felt sorry for them when one of them told us she didn't have a place to stay.
The young folks put down huge money to get here but they are not earning much and will not likely cover their expenses because it is really hard to sell the books.
These young (20-somethings) work their tails off. They have to arrange their own transportation in the area. They have to ask potential customers for bikes or even to borrow cars. This is nuts. Nothing is provided and they don't have money to obtain needed supports.
They work 7 days a week! I think 80 hours a week is not an exageration. Sunday is thieir "supposed" day off but there is an all day meeting that day too. All the brainwashing that was mentioned previously is true for these kids too. They have plastered their room walls with motivational slogans and try hard to always "keep to the program". I see them try so hard but it is discouraging for them because the vast majority of homes reject their sales pitch.
Southwestern Advantage is wringing as much money out of these people as possible. The company doesn't INVEST in them, or take any risks at all. It makes them pay for everything and then takes a huge cut leaving the workers PEANUTS to live on, and not much to take home.
ange I already paid 150 and 20 in the web site . I can't fb message the seller have no number for him and they say they emailed him and he was to contact us . We ordered in the 16th of June I've been called since the 18tb . Said the authorities can't do nothing about it . I'm getting so furious with this in not a charity company. I have a slip with only a name no contact but I do have order number and in order to cancel I must surrender the only proof . I had to personally have my bank stop it i cldnt out anything in without them taking it . They over draw it 2 times not much but sooner than payment and they wouldn't stop til it went through. Customer service is so rude .
