Southwest Management Group was notified that our air conditioner went out (for the third time in three years) on 5/9. They were legally obligated to restore habitable conditions by 5/11, but sent the tech on 5/12. On 5/12, the AC repair tech inforrmed Southwest Management Group that 30 year old air conditioner needed to be replaced, which has been approved but no progress has been made.
We are now on day 6 of living in the desert with no air conditioning, and "we" includes a two year old child, which Southwest Management Group is well aware of. A swamp cooler was promised for 5/13, but we were never contacted as to its delivery. Today, on 5/15, I have spoken to a representative of the company numerous times in regards to the issue. She laughingly told me to be happy it isn't 100F outside, and when I asked her to confirm that was the official cut-off for livable human conditions, she backpeddaled and hurried off the phone.
We are now supposed to be receiving the swamp cooler, although I am sure the owner and Southwest Management Group will be taking their sweet time about the installation of the actual and very necessary air conditioning unit. They have denied or ignored our attempts to seek respite at a hotel and are completely apathetic to the issue, not only as a professional business, but at human beings.
In short I am absolutely disgusted with Southwest Management Group and would like everyone to know the unacceptably low level of care they put into attending to their units.
