BE AWARE of Southwest Infiniti in Houston, Texas! They are FRAUD
Their Sales and Finance department are complete fraud and the Executive Manager Fred Gallucci is a jerk. Let me share my horrible experience with Southwest Infiniti; it is all recorded on my cell phone.
We negotiated the price $14,500 plus TTL on a 2011 used car pre-approved by my bank. All negotiations were done via email and phone; we received the buyers order (will try to attach that here) on July 15, 2016 in the afternoon and we scheduled to sign the contract at 6:00pm. The pre-approval letter was provide to them a day before and the online application was completed as well.
We went to the dealership at 6:00pm; processed all paperwork with the sales department and sign the Buyers Order for $15,749.15 (selling price $14,500 + 956.38 tax + fee) and waited to be called by the Finance department. Finance told me that they submitted the deal to my bank and the ban has approved with higher interest rate. I immediately called my bank on speaker phone and asked if they approved the deal at higher rate;the bank representative said "No, we have not received any deal from Southwest Infiniti". I asked to double check and the answer was negative.
I again asked Finance what was really going on and how did they get higher interest rate without submitting the deal on a pre-approved loan; the finance started to scream at me and said she knew what she was doing. Then I noticed her computer screen had much higher amount for Selling Price;it was $22,500. I asked why are you submitting $22,500 when we agreed to $14,500; she replied this is how they do it.I then asked what was the finance amount;she replied $27,000 plus.
The sales manager took the key out of my hand and said "take it or leave it";we left the store.
