Shaun Stevens is an egotistical person who openly degrades his workers Brandon Staires 2 reviews · 6 photos 2 years ago- A little disappointed as I drove 1.5hrs round trip to pick up some split kiln dried logs and found them to be covered in mold when I arrived back home. I called to see if I could get another bag in exchange and was told that all the wood will have mold on it due to the weather, their would be no deference and all the restaurants use the same wood. However mold can survive combustion and produce mycotoxins which can be very dangerous to some when inhaled and or consumed. Not to mention the overwhelming smell the mold's produce and how this alone can effect the meat your smoking. I'm unwilling to take the risk in causing possible harm to myself and or others and am now out $20 and a bundle of moldy wood richer. Take it for what you will. 1 review a year ago- Called and they said it would take 7-10 days to come out and do job and would come by to give an estimate first- it has now been over 2 weeks and berries now falling like crazy- if you're needing prompt attention from these people, look elsewhere! I was told to return in the afternoon for my paycheck and when I did the owner Fred Stevens acted so unprofessional. He used profanity towards me, threatened to not pay me and even threatened my life.STAY AWAY from this company whether your an employee or customer. The only firewood I could see looked moldy and wet on the side of the building. Not sure what the story here is.
