SRT trucking is a scam in a shady company. As I went to begin to work for them I waited in the hotel for 2 weeks the dispatcher d**k Gregory said he'll call me whenever they have a trainer available and he said they didn't so I said I'll go back home until you guys come with the training available but non smoker. so then he told me to wait for like an hour and you'll see if you get when they came up with a trainer that smokes and I told him I'm allergic, so I told him I will go home again until they come up with a non-smoking trainer. I got I went home and they put me on file is violating company policy and I told them what was the violation they said for refusal to work. I said well all I wanted was a non-smoker trainer I never refuse not to work. I called the guy head of the department Mike Bruce and he said he was too busy to talk each time I call so I'm fighting it legally to get it off the records. Hopefully someone out there listening and watching this review it may help them out in the long run.
I was accepted to srts driver training school which is more like a student mill. i was told it was a two to four week course but there are people that have been there for 8-9 weeks and still cannot drive and or back while the instructors yelled at me saying i need to learn the pretrip they allowed other students to just sit in the drivers seat so they would be the first ones to drive was told that there was no need to change my liscense to arkansas but yet could not test because all the other states know how backwoods stupid arkansas is and would not accept arkansas testing and instead of freezing new students from being brought in they continue to bring more in to the point that the ones already there having less and less drive or backing time not to mention a few students do not allow others to have a turn backing when i brought this to the instructors attention i was told i could leave anytime and pay them $5,000 and that my cdl would be jammed up to where i could not test anywhere else untill it was paid in full even thru they cannot test you and you cannot get your cdl to work for them you stay in hotel that could care less about you. they bring in more and more students and they dont teach you anything to the point you leave and have to pay them anyway this is how they make thier money and oh yes if they tell you that you are testing they always pull you out and send in someone that has their nose straight up their a*s the whole time they have been there and been there less time than you
