I would not recommend this company for any "custom work." We needed a few pieces painted/sprayed and the end result was nothing short of complete disappointment. Was promised 7-10 days- 2 months later, pieces received. Lots of excuses: ran out of paint and had to order more, not enough space, etc. Many more reputable companies in the Greenville and surrounding areas will do a much better job and at a lower price point. Please take heed!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I contacted Southern Age Gypsy regarding a sale. When questioning their sale pricing, I identified they are increasing their pricing claiming sale prices and being dishonest regarding their pricing. First red flag was they didn’t list the pricing on the ad.
When I obtained a quote their was such a price gap between pricing from a post only one day apart. Then when I asked about references and reviews they claimed they never have had their reviews on and could provide references. After researching reviews on this company, seeing unfavorable feedback from customers and seeing they have turned their reviews off on their page....seems this company lacks honesty, when I questioned this they blocked me.
WORST EXPERIECE EVER with Southern Age Gypsi! I would not recommend this company to anyone.
My husband selected this company to build a sliding barndoor console unit for our home and match the finish to our table and chairs that we already had! We gave them one of our chairs to have as finishing reference. They attempted to build our sliding barndoor console unit, sending us pictures, when I tell you very poor quality and nothing like the picture we supplied, I don't see how this company could say they are custom builders. When they sent us pictures it truly looked like a DIY'er trying to be a furniture builder with ZERO EXPERIENCE. They were very quick to say they could do the job and take our money.
This company went non-responsive on us after giving us the biggest run around and wouldn't take our calls. They didn't even have enough respect to meet with us to return our chair, they sat it outside and told us we could pick it up! When we picked up our chair they had damaged it, splashing paint all over it. THEY RUINED OUR CHAIR!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and NO WAY TO TREAT A CUSTOMER!! We worked with another local builder in Mauldin, SC whom built our server, just as pictured and we LOVED IT! So glad that another company could fixed what Southern Age Gypsi ruined!
