I hired this company in August, to paint the inside and outside of my home in Saint Augustine, Cliff long the owner will look at you and lie to you're face. Southeastern Industrial Painting is not licensed or bonded and their corporation was revoked in 2011.
Run Away from this company or make them show you their licensed or bonded. Anyway I was given a contract for $17,000 to paint the inside and outside of my average size home which I thought was high, but since they were referred from a friend I went with them. They broke several lamps and items they never replaced and Cliff Long says yeah yeah we will .Worst of all they spray painted my courtyard and never covered my pool instead of using rollers to paint, their incompetent and it turned the bottom of my pool Green and now i have to drain the pool and get it acid washed, re tinted and filled. Another $3,000.
Then half way through the job Cliff long says he needs more money. I have already paid them $15,000 and I said no your contract says one third at the beginning and one third half way and one third at the end. He said I can't finish the job and pay my guys without more money. So they left and I never heard from them again. He said he needed $15,000 more to finish the job. Southeastern Industrial Painting are scam artists use them at you're own risk . I hired another contractor to finish the job , cliff Long and his unlicensed company are what gives painters a bad name.. Stay away from Cliff long or southeastern industrial painting.
