I recently ordered a microphone from SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic. The item arrived damaged and was defective. SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic was alerted, but refused to acknowledge damage - or offer a refund. Lenghty at times verbally abusive communication ensued from the SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic - both via phone and email. - the verbal abuse mostly on the phone.
SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic kept denying that anything could possibly be wrong with the item and instead to convince me that other products were needed, which, of course, he would sell me at an additional price.
Clearly a fraudulent seller tactic.
As this item was bought via ebay Australia, ebay was brought in to mediate - and while I received and polite communication from ebay throughout the week and was told I had to wait 4 days until I escalate the case - miraculously the seller, SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic suddenly got the case escalated and it was decided within just 1 minute.
Clearly, SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic had an insdier at eBay who arranged this for him, because escalation time frames have to be fair and equal for both seller and buyer. And, of course, the fact that the ebay insider decided within just 1 minute without even hearing my side - and then claimed that this was Buyer's Remorse - almost laughable given the facts.....it is clear that this was a personal favor from someone within eBay.
Beware of buying from SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic - they send out defect products and then refuse a refund, instead trying to sell you more items to make the original product work properly - and most disturbingly, then have an insider at eBay who will decide any disputes in their favor.
If you buy from SouthCoastMusic / South Coast Music / SCMusic - you are likely to get a defect item and loose all your money - aside from a week long aggravation.
