I was in a contract with snap on for a tool box and some tools well I had a lot of family issues and depression so I had to take time off work so I was on able to make payments for a month I understand they have a right to take the tool box and "there" tools but I have tools in there that have been passed down and nothing to do with them I even tried to get caught back up with payments but they didn't want to do that .
At first they told me they would give me my other stuff by the end of the month but now they say they are keeping all my stuff as collateral , I don't understand how they got all there property back and can keep stuff that they didn't sell to me or belongs to them. I work hard for the little bit I have please help.
So we have been paying a Snap On tool dealer for 5 years. The first problem is the fact that we pay every month and they harrass us into paying more and more each month. We have been paying roughly $200 more than what our bill is every single month. We just got a text saying that they want more money or the tools back. I have receipts with our payments for the month in my email. I believe that if this doesnt stop I am going to go to the boss and make a complaint. It is almost the first of the month, they are going to get their payment, but I don't think they care. Making a payment every month and getting harrassed in the middle of the month even though we have made the payment already is beyond called for.

Buyer be aware -Ripoff, straight forward ripoff
Snap-on is running cunning double standart policy and does not honor their warranty
Owned snap-on ratchet F710 ALS for some time.
Plastic handle broke
Called Snap-on customer support with the attempt to exchange it , due to it being on " Life Time Warranty"
Customer support refused to exchange it, for 2 reasons:
- must provide proof of purchase
( purchased 15-20 years ago)
- the item is discontinued
Wanted me to spend another $125 and Directed me to purchase another ratchet from them.
Doesn't it sounds like " milking the $$ strategy ?
Isn't it a ripoff?
What's the purpose of buying one of the most expensive tools where the company gives you the runaround and doesn't even honor their warranty?

Where you can buy the whole toolbox worth of decent good quality tools from the company that would honor their warranty- no questions asked.
