Fraud Transactions

I will now be on my third smione (childsupport) card.

I have had to have my card replaced twice due to fraud.

The second card I have not even had for four months.

They want to charge me a 4 fee to replace the card!

How rude to make me the victim twice.

I believe this is an inside job.

Card Trouble

Did have this Card for One Month and already Fraud Activities which locked my Card. Called and weeks went by No new card Had to call and they have Rude Customer Service for my Money not there's What a inconvenience still waiting on a New Card

Replacement card

I really had no complaints about Smione because only my child support is deposited on here and I usually spend it quickly but in another city they spent $2.34 all I had left on the card at a circleK. The charge must have been made early in the morning because it was pending when I woke up. They keep suggesting you have your tax return or paycheck deposited but I would never even consider these options.

On April 19th, 2016 I went into the store at about 1:30 a.m. to make a purchase using my debit card and it declined. I went to my car to pull up my account and noticed that there were transactions on there that I did not make. The next morning I called my bank to inform them that those transactions were not mine. The customer service rep stated that they tried to call me in reference to those transactions and that they put a hold on the card and that is why it declined. Now, I was told that they would do an investigation that may take up to 10 business days and my money would be credited back. I called just to check on the results and that is when they stated that no error occurred and closed the case.

I requested the documentations they used to make this determination and they mailed me a copy of my transaction history. I thought they would send documentation about whether or not they contacted the merchant, ran any cameras at merchant stores, and any other proof that it was me. They failed to provide that information. I can't contact them directly I have to keep speaking with customer service reps who knows nothing. They are basically saying I made those transactions with no proof. I have been with this bank since 2013 and I haven't had any issues until now.

They told me I needed a police report to reopen the case, I got the police report but the police stated it was nothing they could do because I didn't report it the day I found out and that is because I thought the bank would do a thorough investigation and find out where my money went. They failed to do that.

Also I want to mention that I still have the card, the card wasn't stolen my account information was stolen. I don't know if I'm a victim of identity theft, but this Bancorp Bank has poor customer service skills and their dispute department isn't handling this case properly. I will fax all the documentation that I have used to resolve this issue.

I have waisted money faxing Web Zone company information in hopes that i would receive a refund...waited more than 4 weeks...just to be told no...i will no longer due business wuth SMI ONE CARD SERVICES...My monies are not safe...

This card is a JOKE! Had fraudulent charges on my account and because I've paid a bill at Centerpoint Energy, they declined my dispute. Someone got $127.49 free utility payment on me!!! (I even sent account payments straight from Centerpoint's website) So if you're a single parent and DEPEND on your child support to SURVIVE, I would MOST DEFINITELY make sure the money was NOT put on SMIONE crappy card account!!

On January 9, a charge for Centerpoint Energy showed up on my account for $127.49. I looked at the transactions on my account and noticed a duplicate charge from a gas station as well as a turbo tax charge. I called and had my card locked and replacement ordered on January 11. I faxed the required information for dispute to that department. Today, January 26, after speaking to 3 supervisors this week I was advised that I would ONLY get a credit for the Turbo Tax charge since I had never previously used this merchant. Seriously. I sent my account details for the Centerpoint Gas, including my last 6 months of payments made. None are near the amount that was charged to my card. But hey, I've paid my gas bill in the past, lemme pay this person's too, right? I mean, a single mom that DEPENDS on this child supprt can do that, right?

PLEASE get yourself another account for your child support to go to. Heaven forbid you have fraudulant charges...they do not care and do not investigate.

The semi one card is a huge rip off. With this card I can not get help at all in fraud charges, without writing. I was not able to turn in my card as stolen on the internet, instead I got an email saying sorry there is nothing we can do online. Also, when I went to the bank to withdraw money, they held the money for 5 days and the bank called and called. It actually messed up their accounts and now they don't want to take money out. I'm forced to use the ATM and get fees because the only banks we have out in the country are out of their big city banking!

The closest Wal Mart to me is a 50 mile round trip. They also had the wrong last name on my card, so when my daughters and I went on vacation, none of the hotels would take the card and we almost had to camp out in the car in the cold. I was furious, but luckily my daughter had some just in case money and I had to use the atm once again to pay her back.

Fees, fees, and more fees. I'm sick of it. This money is supposed to go to the kids and I'm paying the banks left and right. I think this company is making money off of us!!! I have no idea why the govenment went with these rip off artists. They took almost 2 weeks to get my new card, when the past card took about 3 to 5 days. Awful company, I wish they would go back to mailing checks. I am about to get it changed to direct deposit to my bank to quit dealing with these people.

On 8/11/17 My SMIONE Child Support Debit Card was compromised, I immediatly call the customer service department & was told that they couldn't do anything until the transactions had posted. I said How about you decline the transactions? I was told to call back in a few days and then I would need to fill out a dispute form and send it to them and they would see if the charges were indeed fraudulent. Needless to say, the total child support payment I received was spent in numerous cities by the frauds, and left me with a negative balance of $170. SMIONE has issued me a new card however, with the negative balance transfered over to it. SHOCKING! Anytime I have ever tried to use my card with a zero balance, it was declined. I am furious.......$690.00 gone and ZERO help from their "customer service" department!

I receive child support on a debit card from SmiOne visa (Bancorp). The company switch was made in October 2016, from Eppicard Mastercard to SmiOne. Within the first month my card was hacked. I didn't receive any notices (although, my card preferences were set to text and email alerts) about fraudulent transactions being made. All of my funds were taken in an instant. When I called the company and finally spoke to a real person after 29 minutes and 11 seconds listening to how important I am as a customer and how safe their card company was...I reported the fraud. I was asked to fax them a list of information regarding the situation to send to their dispute center. I did this within minutes and I was told that a new card would be issued and I should receive it in 7-10 business days. To my suprise, the card arrived in 5 days. When I called to activate it and was asked to verify the last 4 digits...the representative asked to place me on hold and returned 8 minutes later. She said that that the new card had the same account number as the one I reported hacked. She said they would have to send me another one. Another 7-10 business days. It's been over a month and I have yet to receive a card. I have called multiple times and I have received zero help, care, or concern. They can't tell me where it is...and when I asked to cancel the one "in transit" and be issued another card and have it sent to me Ups, the representative promised me it would be no more than 2 days and discouraged me from doing so. The card is still not here and now I can't get through to a real person. There is over $1000 on the card now that I can't access and it's Christmas! I work full time but my paycheck covers my rent and utilities. I count on that support for my kids braces, band fees, groceries, and medical treatments. I can't get anywhere with this company and I don't know what else to do.

Negative balance for no reason

Some how I have a negative balance and 3 pending transactions. When I made the purchases I had plenty if money on my card for my expenses. This card is useless and a waste of time. I wish they would've stuck with the eppicard for child support at least they knew what they doing and as soon as you used the money it came off the card.

Horrible company

I'm waiting on my third card now. The first one was hacked so I got a new account. Then for no reason the chip and strip could not be read in any machine. So I had to order a new card and having no access to my money. Got the new card in 7 days, one month later, and thing. No chip or strip working. No store can get it to work. So I ordered a new one....10 days now and no card still. All my money is in that account and I have no way to pay my bills. I wrote to them to check into this and got no help. Just a automated response that it takes 7-10 business days then contact them. I hate this company with a passion.

can't even get into the website

I am wondering if there is any way around this card? I just started receiving child support payments this way. This does not help me I can transfer money to my bank account but that takes time and there are fees. Also I have been unable to get into the website at all so no way to set up anything. This is a terrible way to get the needed money to child support receivers.
