I moved 3 lines from ATT to Sprint. Was looking to get rid of the 3 phones that we had when making the switch. I did a quick google, found Smartphone TradeIn, their trade in values were a bit higher than a couple others I checked out. I filled out a form online with the 3 phones, had 1 damaged Samsung S7, value was $35, the other 2 phones were in perfect condition (always in a protective case), one was a Samsung S7 valued at $165 and the other an Iphone 6S valued at $220. I own a multi-million dollar business, and have an admin that handles my emails. I/she got an email from the company saying one of the phones was damaged (which I knew and put on the form they ask you to fill out) and that the value was $35. I advised my admin to approve. I then get 3 checks in the mail, each for $35 with a note saying the other 2 phones were damaged. I still have not cashed the checks, I reached out to the company on 5/22 asking to cancel the transaction for the 2 phones that they said were damaged (which they were not). I was told they have already been recycled. I have since then read other reviews on the company that have customers who make the same claim. This is a shady way of doing business. I would stay as far away from this company as possible. As the owner of a company, I find it repulsive that a company would flat out lie and steal from its customers.

After finding this company online, I contacted them to get an offer on two iPhones that I was no longer using. The company made a proposal for $535 and sent me a shipping label so that I could send them the two phones. after they received the phones on July 14th, they did not contact me as they promised to let me know that they received the phones, and now 10 days later they have not responded to my email nor have they sent the check as they promised, and they have my two iPhones that were purchased only six months ago. they are scammers and everyone should be aware, these phones were from our church and now they are gone by this phoney company that scams people out of their items to sell them to unknowing consumers. They are not legitimate but scammers. Beware public.

I received this "good news" via email, after being told that I would receive $120 for my phone. Don't be scammed by this fraudulent company that I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

Dear Brian,

Good news: your device arrived safely at our facility and just received a professional appraisal by our qualified device inspectors.

Nothing to do now but get paid.

After carefully inspecting your device by hand, seeing its condition, and following up-to-the-minute market conditions—you’re owed $10 for the device.

This is the same amount we’d pay everyone else for the same device right now, and it follows the Terms & Conditions we agreed upon when you sent your device.

What’s Next?

No more waiting around; our accounting team is processing your payment right now, and within 5 days we’ll be mailing you your check.

Thanks for trusting us as your unwanted device recycler, and improving our environment while you’re at it.

Have a good day and look out for your check in the mail
