Do your homework people. This company will scam you as fast as you will let them. My car was late getting picked up. Late getting delivered. It was damaged during delivery. The independent carrier that Smart Talk gave my order to .... they sucked. The carrier damaged my car.... said the fee was hire than my agreement with Smart Talk. Smart talk told the carrier I was a liar and didn't back me - they backed the carrier so I had to pay a higher fee than the agreement price with Smart Talk. Total nightmare. Car was late, damaged and the fee was jacked up by $150.00. But here is the worst part.... Smart Talk blocked my number and was no help after they took my money. None what-so-ever! Total Nightmare Unprofessional, Unethical jerks.
This company received my request for a quote (along with a dozen other companies). I just wanted pricing. This company posted my vehicle order on a national dispatch board without authorization. This caused a major delay when moving my car. I chose another company and this company refused to remove my vehicle post off the dispatch board. This confused truckers and caused a delay. If you drove a truck would you accept an order if you knew another company might pick it up before you got there? NO. Hell NO. You would pick another car on the dispatch list going that way. Nobody would pickup your car unless they were an F rated carrier that couldn't find business any other way. Now you don't want an F rated carrier handling your vehicle.
Smart Talk is a broker - they don't own trucks (nothing wrong with that)... but reaching out at a higher than normal price... trying to find a truck like this... then calling you and claim they have a truck for you... might make you think they are trying to help you.... they are not.... they are over charging you! Don't fall for it. It's a scam. A broker is suppose to find you the best price... not the highest price.
This F Rated Company with the Better Business Bureau is a total scam company. Don't believe me... do your research. Run from this scam. Find a company with a long history and one that still has a A Rating with the BBB. You'll be glad you did.
