In a 2009 NYS Supreme court action, Slye insisted I had no right of way across his client's property. The court disagreed, and forced Slye to describe a reasonable route to my (family) property. After some give and take, Slye demanded we accept a right of way adjacent to a property line (as shown on a survey provided to the court by Slye). LO AND BEHOLD, in less than a month after agreement, my DAD was arrested for using said right of way. The other day, nearly six years after Slye described the right of way, Slye justified the arrests by providing a completely different survey in yet another lawsuit over the right of way. Apparently, Slye felt the survey he had originally provided the court was incorrect so he had another survey commisioned. (This even after his client sued the first surveyor and lost, the court dismmissed the suit.)
I would suggest avoiding Slye, as his headaches turn into never ending litigation (for which he gets paid) and if you find yourself on the opposite side of the table, to never trust and utterance from his lips. (My opinion) Continued...... The guy should be disbarred , and my hope is he is tarred and feathered. Ths appears to be fraudulent practice.
