Skype is driving me wild! Since not being able to sign in with FB (Jan 10th) their site tells me that my PW is wrong...it is NOT! It is QUITE IMPOSSIBLE to get onto their chat support ...which they tell you is so easy. One just goes round and round wasting time on their site until u give up! So effectively they have shut down TWO of my skype sites..losing all my contacts..with their messaging which i need to refer to + taken two lots of my money for calling my son in US. Small amounts of £s..but it's the principle! Where I am now is just opened a 3rd account...the only thing to do as i cant contact them to re-instate my old accounts...given them more money..and have no contacts on it. Plus i am worried they may go through the whole thing again..say my PW is wrong and s*** this ibe dow. Not only is it highly stressful and frustrating...being unable to contact them it is fraudulent. What should i do? I sent them an email half hour ago to what could be an old address i found on Google asking them if it was valid email address. They came straight back with a subject matter of 'Sorry for your problem'..a 'do not reply' and a completely blank page. This is fraud. What is your adive? Thank you. Anthony.
1- When we (scammed people) subscribed for Unlimited Europe with a Monthly recurrent payments, skype had the obligation to notify us whenever there is a change in the price of the service: microsoft.com/en-us/servicesagreement/
Check PAYMENT TERMS section K:
k. Price Changes. We may change the price of the Services at any time and if you have a recurring purchase, we will notify you by email at least 15 days before the price change. If you do not agree to the price change, you must cancel and stop using the Services before the price change takes effect. If there is a fixed term and price for your Service offer, that price will remain in force for the fixed term."
The price for Unlimited Europe with only 7 destinations mobile and landline is £30.59. Obviously, competitors had better prices and thus Skype had to reduce that price to £16 and increase destinations to 25 (landlines and mobiles). However, some Scam Genius in Microsoft found an opportunity there: "why notify subscribers?", he thought, "let us just create a new service and call it EUROPE UNLIMITED instead of UNLIMITED EUROPE...", this way, loyal subscribers (who stupidly trusted skype) on recurrent monthly payments will keep paying £30.59 while they still can attract new joiners to the EUROPE UNLIMITED for £16, and apparently, that would not be considered a violation of the terms... I am not sure whoever like me was a victim of that obvious scam can take a legal action, probably the all-knowing tough lawyers generously paid by Microsoft have thought it through before execution, I will check with a lawyer...Nevertheless, are we aware people how we get scammed daily by greedy unethical dollar hungry filth who hide behind status, large desks and suits? Enjoy the new millennium, also scam is globalised now... what a shame...

I never authorized the charge and I don't have any clue what is it. I called to PayPal & Skype. They don't know anything about this. Skype representative adviced me to ask bank to file a dispute.
Skype suspended my account do to no fault of mine. They then auto charge you for services you never requested. How did they ever get my credit card??? Then they make it impossible to reacttivate your account. This is the worst company Ive ever delt with . Do not sign up for skype. They will somehow get enough info from you to start debiting your account even when you never gave them any account info.
STAY AWAY FROM SKYPE. THEY WILL GET YOUR FINANCIAL ACCOUNT INFO, START CHARGING YOU FOR THINGS YOU NEVER ORDER, THEN SUSPEND YOUR ADCCOUNT AND FREEZE YOUR ABILITY TO DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!
Skype communication took money off my credit card in the amount of 9.37 and 4.68 with out my permission. I don't have an account with this company. I will be pressing criminal charges.

Yesterday, 7/28/2016, I found a charge at my bank checking account from SKYPE COMMUNICAT
