I was walking along the Woodlands Mall with my daughter and a kiosk salesperson (Premier Skincare) pulled me over for a free trial and their usual sales pitch. I told her I like the products but were out of my price range. She told me that they have an offer of buying their products (miracle mask, peel and cleanser) today for a few hundred dollars, and that it includes 12 months worth of free refills. This deal was acceptable to me as it now meant I could afford it.
Two months later, I went into the mall to get my refills and the man there said that this deal was struck by the operators back then and that he was not going to honor it. The best he would do was offer me a bottle at cost price. I was absolutely disgusted and just angry. It now meant I spend hundreds of dollars on just 1 1/2 months of product when I was counting on it for 12 months.
This is simply misleading sales tactics and fraudulent - the sales person either blatantly lied and told me I could get free refills for 12 months knowing that in 2 months I would not be able to get a refill and that she would not be there anyway.
