For those women (like me) who wants to believe the advertising online/magazine/tv sells the beauty products it said "Free trials" Please don't fall into this kind of trap like me. The product doesn't only NOT work they also ripping you off by giving you a "Free trials). First, I only ordered the Skin Element which is a facial cream but when the product arrived I also received the eye cream which I didn't order for free trials, I ended up have to pay for the extra shipping fee for the product that I didn't want. Second, even though they said to give you 12 days for free trials, I tried it for 3 days and I knew it was not working like they advertised so I returned it but they've already deducted $92.79 from my credit card and said they'll refund me back when they received the products back from me. So I waited for more than a month and didn't see any refund back to my credit card, on top of that they charged me another $92.79 for no reason. So I called them and again it went to the Indian sale person (must be oversea) again and he said that they'll return the refund within 10 days but have to deduct $20 restocking fee which never mention on the refund policy paper. The conclusion is : This company knew that their product doesn't work the way they claimed, they figured out that even customers return the products they still can make a lot of money by charging their restocking fee of $20.00. I'm thinking to dispute their chargers so they can't get their dirty hand on me. Next time, don't think "free trials" is FREE. Be Smart!

Skin Elements Scam

Total Scam. The best way to stop them is to call your bank and request a charge back. Tell your bank it is an unauthorized charged and Skin Elements gets a poor reputation with banks and merchant facilities which will eventually shut them down for non compliance. Skin Element need to be upfront about these charges. I purchased through an instagram promotion, there was no mention of price, or that I had brought a product that had a free trial period and that I would be charged the full amount ( which was not anywhere to be seen). I though I was buying a promotional offer and that was it. When I saw the charges on my account I called my bank immediately and the money was credit back to my account and Skin Element blocked from making further charges. At the time I made my purchase, my husband told me not to do it - its a scam! I should have listened.

same story - scam

My letter to the company. I better not get charged any more.

I am returning the product because your company is a scam. If I had liked the product, I would have ordered again, but I am in disbelief that you would attempt to charge me nearly $200 if I hadn’t called to inquire. There is NO place in any mailing, email or online information that says I would be charged for $200 of product.

And then you charged $10 for shipping it (a separate shipping and handling fee for each product, even though they were in the same box).

You told me on the phone I had to return it by 12/9. I didn’t receive it until 12/6 (I ordered it online on 11/25)..

Then you “negotiated” -- I could pay ½ price and keep the product longer ..

I see several claims through Better Business Bureau, and I now understand why. I wish I had researched you before I placed an order for what I believed to be a sample for $3.95.

Be advised - DO NOT charge one more penny to my charge card. I am advising my credit company to deny any charges

I lost $10 – stupid me – smart you. Good lesson learned. I’ll tell everyone online about your company. Facebook and the review sites will get my story.

You should be ashamed.

skin element and eyevibe

The company should be put of business , they did the same thing to me .I called to cancel I couldn't understand them ,they charge me on the 11 day of trial where the terms and condition said they will charge on the 15 day . I put in a dispute with my bank for these charges and these so call restocking fee was no where mention in the terms and conditions. Will follow up and file a complaint against skin element.

SCAM!!!

I ordered both the Skin Element and EyeVibe for the cost of shipping. I received an email for both products the day they shipped. At the bottom of the email it stated if any questions or issues call the number below or simply respond to the email. I responded to both emails the very next day asking them to cancel my account and do not ship any additional product. (I wanted time to try it). I didn't receive a reply so I week later I sent another email asking them to confirm that my account was cancelled. Low and behold they charged my credit card for both products, 97.00 & $105. I contact the phone number listed on the charge on my cc and of course they were in another country and very hard to understand. I told the rep about my emails and he said I can't cancel via email that I have to call even though the shipment email I received says to reply to this email. After dealing with him for about 10 minutes and getting nowhere I asked for a supervisor who was even harder to understand. I simply told him to reverse both charges in full or I would call my bank and tell them the charges were fraudulent. He went on and on about restocking fees (why is there a restocking fee if I send product back that I've already used?? Are you going to sell it) and I just kept saying the same thing and FINALLY he agreed. Company should be ashamed of themselves and put out of business.

I was tricked by ads I saw over and over again by pictures of women that miraculously looked better and younger by using these products.

Being offered a trial period seemed like a good deal. After all, reputable people were using the product (I thought).

Within the 2 week trial period I was charged automatically from my checking account $92.72. I was furious and called custmoer service demanding my money be returned.I was told I surpassed the trial limit that had started the day the product was ordered. That is insane! And that is exactly what I told the man. I was instructed how to return it to receive a partial refund. I followed his instructions explicitly. I not only had to pay for shipping but $20.00 for restocking. Crazy! There was nothing to be restocked- it was used. He also told me it would take a month to receive my refund.

That was May 18, 2016.The package was mailed UPS on May 19th. No money received by June 18th and another $92.72 withdrawn unknowingly by me. I was crazed! Made a phone call only to be told they did not receive my returned package and this would continue.

I was on the phone until things became a blurr. I calmed down, called back and asked to speak to a supervisor. Now I spoke to Jessica Phillips. After the longest time on the phone, she said the best she could do because they did not have the return was 70%..

Each person in their customer service dept responded to me in the exact same tone and verbage. I am on a fixed income and can't afford this anymore.

Skin Elements posted an offer to recieve their snak peptite cream for the shipping cost of $3.95. No other stated obligations were posted. I ordered and subsequently my credit card was charged the $3.95.

Weeks later, a strange entry for $97.83 was on my credit card account under the name of Nouva Fresh Skin Care. I did not recognize the name, and originally thought it was an identily theft person who had charged my account. Upon further research, including other complaints listed on this site, I found out that this company was representing the Skin Care element and that that amount had been charged to my account without my knowledge, approval or consent.

The company needs to make certain that in the future it discloses full intent which it did not do in this case.

Called for "FREE" sample for shipping of .99. Received product and found it is a monthly subscription service. No where was there any indication of continued shipments. Shipped per their directions. Have tracking number from USPS. Was delivered 05-24-2016. Received call to follow up on next shipment. Can hardly understand the person speaking. Cannot get through customer service number 1-855-247-7361.

SkinElement and Eye Vibe cream is a total ripoff. Came across a free trial of the product online and paid for the shipping and handling total 10.9$. Later I realised it is a auto renewal product plan that costs nearly $200. This was no where mentioned on the site or the confirmation that I received. I only read about it when I searched the internet for reviews. Immediately I cancelled the order, however the support team informed that there is no refund since the shipping and handling fees are non refundable. Later I get and email saying the product is shipped and now I have to pay extra to ship the product back and god knows what other hidden charges are included in this. This is total ripoff and fraud and has celebrity endorsing it. Will make sure to give neagtive feedback wherever possible and check if there is a consumer forum to take this greivance up.

I am going to report you as fraudulent to my bank and show them below info from federal I am also filing a report and emailing this email to dr oz show hoping he will choose to no longer promote this product and to christie brinkley. I feel you should do the right thing credit me full price for cream don't charge me or ship eye vibe cancel me completely by the way the gentleman i spoke to accused me of lying that i returned product because us postal should give me a tracking number for something i mailed myself which is insane their are other complaints on other sites too about your fraud chgs and products which are below average. Cc:dr mehmet oz show cc: christie brinkley cosmetics cc: rapid fullfillment address: internet usa phone: 855-558-1478 category: mail order services rapid fullfillment skin elements cream, eye vibe solution ordered "free trial" of their skin products which turned out to be a subscription only mentioned in the fine print at the bottom and in the lengthy hidden terms you had to click on to see. My free trial is going to cost me $31.00 plus return shipping. Internet i ordered a free trial of the skin element and eye vibe products supposedly by paying $10.90 for shipping and handling. Turns out if i had read the fine print at the bottom of the page or the lengthy terms of agreementOnly visible if you clicked on tiny word terms) i would have discovered that i was enrolling in a monthly subscription costing nearly $200 a month. Turns out i had until the 15th day from date of order to cancel or i would be charged the full amount for these product. I only discovered this when the first charge of $97 for the cream appeared. Now to get a refund of $77 i must return the remaining product at my own expense and pay a $20 restocking fee. None of this is explained in confirming emails or in the package when it arrives. My free trial is going to end up costing me $30.90 plus return shipping. Besides that my mary kay works better and doesn't cause pimples to break out on my 62 year old face.

I ordered a sample of cream and eye vibe it burned my skin to the point it peeied so returned it thru us postal service you charged me 95.00 without authorization i called into cust service the gentleman had no compassion at all and offered to give me fifty percent refund but still is going to charge me for eye vibe. I am also filing a report and emailing this email to dr oz show hoping he will choose to no longer promote this product and to christie brinkley. Ripoff!

The same thing has happened to me. Why isn't the legal system looking into this fraud. If you see Dr. Oz or Christie Brinkley do not read any of the garbage. This is a scam and I feel so cheated. Never, Never again. After I got them to cancel my order they have just sent me another bottle. I feel I'm being scammed by Dr. Oz personally. Doesn't he check to see what the products and companies are about before he does an ad for them? Will not watch another show of his. Totally disgusted!

I also fell for the Skin Element scam.

I also fell for the Skin Element scam. If it is too good to be true, it is too good to be true. I reviewed the website. It said it was a trial, but there were no details of the trial. When the product arrived, there were no details about further shipments.

Sham

There should be a minus star for this company. They are very deceiving. Do not think that you are getting a free trial. You will be billed for both products and never get the trial size. I was told that they do not send out trial size products. What you get is a month supply and are now automatically enrolled in their monthly program. I thought I had read their add carefully but they are not up front with how their business operates. They should be put out of business. Any suggestions of how to do this would be appreciated.62EG

Total Rip Off.

Trying to get my money back from them now. No where in their website or advertising or confirming emails does it state they will continue to charge you for additional shipments without your knowledge. How can they get away with only giving you a partial refund for something you didn't even order or authorize to be charged to your account. I ordered a "sample," not a subscription !! This company will pay dearly !!

no stars means stay away! the website says "you can cancel at anytime by calling 855-835-1482. If you cancel before the 15th day of your order date, you pay the $4.94 S&H of your 30 day supply." When you call to cancel before you even receive the product the men on the phone argue with you and tell you can't cancel the order. I spent over 30 minutes on the phone with two different middle eastern accented men who both talked over me while I was telling them I wanted to cancel. They both argued with me. The first named "Richard Wilson employee #58069, told me that I could NOT refuse to accept the product. I laughed at him. He raised his voice and said I have to accept the product, again I laughed. It took me over 35 minutes to get a cancellation confirmation number. Then "Richard" calls me back and says I can't cancel product. I read the website to him "you can cancel at anytime by calling 855-835-1482. If you cancel before the 15th day of your order date, you pay the $4.94 S&H of your 30 day supply." He says I can't cancel the product. WOW!!! This company is a complete SCAM!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

PLEASE REPORT AND TALK TO YOUR BANK

This is a scam and your bank/creditcard/Credit Union most likely will back you up with no payment. You have to ask.

As suggested above, file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. We have to work together to get these scams stopped. Don't allow yourselves to be taken advantage of. That is just what they had planned all along.

I ordered Skin Element on the internet and gave them my credit card. It was a "trial" and I was paying for the postage. They some how got you to click on the Eye Vibe also. So I was charged .99+.99+3.95+5.95 for 11.88. I was charged for the postage on 10/24. I received the 2 products in an unmarked box. I was not told of any membership to a club or any mention of charging me for the product. On 11/04 I was charged $97.83 and on 11/07 I was charged $105.79 for the eye vibe. So, now I am out $203.62 plus the high postage. I called them on 11/17, that is when I realized they charged me the $203.62. They said they would give me a 50% refund, I said I wanted the entire refund and they said it would be a $20 restocking fee for each item for $40. I said how can you restock when I have used it-he said abrasively, it's for handling. I am getting a refund of $74.05 for the eye vibe and $68.48 for Skin Element--not enough! The ad also has Dr. Oz's picture and christy Brinkley's so you think it's legit. Also when you click on Skin Element, sometimes another product comes up like Borealis. My friend received that one and they didn't make her pay but they told her it would be a $9 restocking fee. I argued as best I could but they wouldn't do any better. I have not received the refund as of now but it has been only 3-days. It's hard to beleive these people are getting away with this scam--please help stop this crime!

  • Nov 19, 2016

This is a SCAM!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!

I canceled within the first 14 days, because I became suspicious of their advertising practices. They tried to get me to continue by reducing the price of the product. I told them "no" (that I don't do business with companies that are dishonest) and then they told me to mail the "sample" back (I don't believe this was listed in their Terms and Conditions, nor was a restocking fee of $20 ... which I did NOT pay, because the jar was damaged). When I mailed it back, at my expense, I fortunately got a delivery confirmation # from the PO. Yesterday, I noticed a charge of $97.83 on my credit card account (exactly 1 month to the day that the sample was due back...It had been delivered to them on Oct 25 according to the PO!), and I immediately called them. They tried to tell me they didn't receive the sample back, but upon giving them the delivery confirmation # and statement that it had been delivered, they appeared to credit back my account. I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission, and called my credit card company to put a stop on any future charges. My credit card company’s record shows that I have TWO charges in pending for $97.83, not a charge and a credit. This has been a real pain. This company (and there are several different names and addresses/phone #s for them) needs to be put out of business. I would urge more people to notify the Federal Trade Commission (google them).

  • Oct 29, 2016

This is a complete scam, exactly like ombia derma. They were never on ellen, if you don't cancel trial within 15 days, And even then they fight you on it), you are automatically billed almost $100 a month. The call center is located in india. Hopefully if enough people write to their attorney generals about this, that they can be stopped!

I ordered a sample of Extravagant Beauty on Sept 07,2016 on Sept 20,2016 they deducted 97.89 from my checking account.I have returned the product by priority mail checked the tracking number. Product has not been claimed

  • Oct 16, 2016

Should have known that you never get something for free

This same information above from the other customers is the same thing that I experienced. I had to call them about receiving the product back today. I was told their was a restocking fee of $20.00 on a product which I didn't open. I will get a refund but less the stocking fee of $20.00 on my account. I am a very unhappy customer and will not recommend this product.8

  • Oct 11, 2016

Theifs period.

Their free trial ask if I wanted extra items, I actually clicked the choice, (No. I do not want younger looking skin). They billed me almost $100.00 14 days later. I called and the person acted like they could not speak English until I got a bit impatient, All the sudden he developed perfect English in an instant..scam!

  • Sep 5, 2016

Horrible Company

The same thing happened to me. You call the customer service line and you can't understand a word they are saying and they tell you what your going to do or what they will do to you. What a bunch of crap! My son overheard my conversation with customer service and he took over the call for me. He told them he wanted to talk to a supervisor or manager. A few minutes later the guy came back on the phone and said, I cancelled your account and you don't have to send the product back. This just happened today. I don't trust them. I will call my bank tomorrow to make sure they don't charge me again. I am so tired of American companies using people in India for Customer Service. If it's an American company and they expect Americans to buy the product, why not hire americans for your customer service. Theres no viable excuses for that.

  • Sep 3, 2016

I saw an ad for a free sample of this cream and the shipping was $3.95 so paid for it on 8/16/2016. I just saw a $97 was taken out of my bank account by this company on 8/30/2016. I called them and this woman with indian accent was telling me that it was an automatic monthly order. I told her i haven't received anything, but i would refuse it when it comes. Then she said the little sample i got wasn't a sample, its price is $97. But since i "complain", she want to offer me 40% off the amount. When i said no, i want my full refund, then she offer 70 % off. Then she said if i return the product, there is a 20% restocking fee. Then no restocking fee after she spoke to a "manager" on my account. This is a scam. They just think they can steal people's money.

  • Aug 31, 2016

Free trial skin element

I am glad I looked up reviews before it was too late for my bank account. Wish I had looked them up before signing up for the free trial. I did call and was able to cancel after telling them I thought it was fraud and was going to report them. I got an e-mail saying my subscription was canceled and I could keep the jar. This sort of thing makes me sick. The operator (obviously from India) said it was stated at the bottom of the page in in a little link that I didn't see. This was advertised on facebook who should be ashamed of themselves for letting these crooks have ads on there.

  • Aug 21, 2016

Be careful of free offers

I also fell for the free offer scam. I also didn't order the eye cream but it was placed on the free offer which added to shipping and handling costs. I then realized I had made a mistake and called my credit card company to cancel the charge. They can't cancel it because ordering it wasn't fraud on the company's part. I then called 855-227-6066 which was customer service. I was told they cancelled my free trial order. I asked for an email confirmation and got one immediately for the eye and skin cream. I had a better experience than others as of now. It remains to be seen if they still ship it and then make me pay to ship it back. However, the confirmation covers the cancellation and unless they have a system to make the email disappear, I should be ok. Considering what I just said, I think I will go make a quick copy of those emails! Good luck to all of you and to those that are considering ordering...don't!
