We bought a Skeeterboard hoverboard online at skeeterboard.com for $289.99 plus tax&shipping. $341.55 total. It had a bad wheel and battery would not charge. They had us send it back for repair. We finally recieved it back today 8/18/2016 and it is worse than it was before. Repair shop near me said it now needs a new motherboard and sensors. Skeeterboard is refusing to let us return it for a refund. We bought it 7/20/2016. They sold us a very bad skeeterboard.

From my newest research done just minutes ago it shows me that Scott Tassone otherwise knows as "Scott the Mover" has been running scams for over 10 years. Mainly in the moving business there are many reports on this site about him.

His newest scam is ripping off innocent children and familes around america with his hoverboard company Skeeterboard. Scott is a bad person. A son of a **** liar that deserves to be in jail. His past is coming back thanks to the help of me and my legal team.

Please no one buy or do business with skeeterboard, scott, or any of his companies.

SCAM - Skeeterboard.com SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT

Ordered a skate board on this website skeeterboard.com and it came defective. Called the customer service number and emailed.. 949-681-9300 no response and no response from emails. this is not a legitimate company, out $339.00. the transaction shows up on credit card statement as AMZ IPARTS. reported to bank to see how we can get refund. This was a vendor on Amazon.com and they have been removed by amazon for deceptive sales activity. DO NOT BUY.

This is the worst company ever. They have zero customer service.

Shipped me a defective board for Christmas (a gift), then... no response from customer service, no answer on their phone... finally by claimed it would take *6 WEEKS* to process the exchange for a new one (way to ruin Christmas you jerks).

Then, after I returned the defective one they refused to refund my shipping! Great company - ship customers defective products and then refuse either exchange it in a timely way or refund the full cost? What a scam. Do not EVER buy from this company.

I purchased the "6" Blue Skeeterboard Bluetooth Two Wheeled Smart Self Balancing Scooter on 12/09/16 and was received on 12/17/16. The item was a Christmas gift for my 6 year old son. Each time my son tried to use the skeeterboard is violently vibrated and shaked which caused screws to fall out of the skeeterboard. The item also made a rattling noise as if something is loose inside of it. I had to call and email customer service numerous times in order to receive a response. I finally received a response from customer service via email on 1/13/17 with instructions on how to return the skeeterboard back for repair. I immediately sent back the skeeterboard on 1/13/17 and I called on 1/24/17 to get an update. I was told that the skeeterboard was received and was being repaired. The email that was sent to me from customer service on 1/13/16 stated that it would take 1-7 business days to repair the item.

It is now February 7, 2017 and I have not received any updates (as I requested on the BRI form) Nor have I received the skeeterboard back. I attempted to call the store several times and wasn't able to get an answer. I find this as a huge inconvenience and dissatisfaction as I purchased this item almost 2 months ago.

Warning, do not purchase a Skeeterboard brand hoverboard. The Skeeterboard product is not UL certified, and not certified to UL 2272.

I Purchased a Skeeterboard in May of 2016. After it came to light that many of the companies selling hoverboards were using false or partial electrical certifications, I contacted Skeeterboard in July to see if they had copies of the UL or CE certifications for their products.

Skeeterboard responded once, and sent me a copy of a UL certification for the charger only. After repeated emails and calls asking the skeeterboard reps to clarify the agent's phone claim that the entire hoverboard was certified, no further response was received. In fact, the website link to the certifications page on Skeeterboard.com has shown a "page cannot be found" error since July, 2015. This is still the case as of December 26, 2016. skeeterboard.com/pages/certifications

Skeeter, Inc, is a business registered in the State of Florida. Thieves

We ordered a hoverboard for my daughters' Christmas gift, it's been almost 3 weeks no hoverboard, no call back, no response my daughter has been waiting patiently one whole year for a hoverboard. Don't order from these scum bags, they are thieves. It's frustrating trying to reach these people, now that I read feedback I doubt we'll get any respons from them. We've reported this to Amazon and our credit card hopefully we'll get a refund.

Company is a huge frustration. Received a hoverboard within a week one sensor went bad the light ws stuck on and the board would not function (see photo). If you call the phone goes directly to a voice mail that tells you to email support. After I emailed support it took a week for a response. I finally receioved a return lable.

2 weeks after returning no word, no emails answered, no phone calls answered, after the 3rd week I finally recieved an email stating repairs would be done and shipped back to me. another week passes no response. after 100 phone calls someone picked up told me they were out of stock but they would ship me a replacement of a different color that day. 2 days later I received an email with a refund which I never asked for. Do not order from this company. Buyers beweare, many other hover board companies out there. Since my issue I have had multipule people contact me from the internet forums that have stated they ordered from skeeterboard and never received their shipmement and can not get ahold of anyone.

Business is a scam buy elsewhere. Thankful I got my money back. I hope I can help atleast one person not make this mistake. It runied my childs birthday gift. Since I finally got my money back I purchased her a Jetson V6 which hast high reviews and great customer service.

Horrible Company!

I paid $111 to receive FedEx 2 day shipping and they shipped FedEx Ground. It was not going to arrive when I needed it so I wanted a refund. I don't care how many times you try to call, you will never get anyone to answer the phone, only a recording instructing you to email them. I emailed them and didn't get a response so I contacted Amazon Payments which I used for the purchase and Amazon could not get anyone to answer the phone. I emailed them and didn't get a reply. Amazon emailed them and they replied that I would receive a refund. It's been 24 hours and no refund action has been initiated. This company is indeed a SCAM!
