Never received refund - DON'T WALK, RUN AWAY !!! RIPOFF !!!!
We contracted with Sister Technologies to buy their Air Booth EZ360 automotive image process software. When we contracted with them there was a refund clause put into the contract that allowed us to cancel the contract if they couldn't fix a problem within 5 day of getting notified of such problem. It did not take long for their product to fail, actually 2 days after their second install attempt. We waited 10 days and called it quits with them. We are still waiting to get a refund to this day and probably never will.
When they attempted the first install, yes first install, I noticed that the design of the Air Booth we purchased was completely different than the you tube video we were shown when we contracted. We felt like a bait and switch sale was starting and should have ran for the hills but didn't. This first install was a nightmare, they dropped the structure when it was suspended from the ceiling at a 15' height, not allowed them to install their Air Booth and one of their unskilled installers almost broke his hand over it.Over the next 2 months we waited for them to return and attempted to install a second time. They did finish it, but it stopped working 2 days after they finished. We notified them of the problem and they did not want to provide a resolution or send someone to fix it. This is when we examined their Air Booth and noticed that they installed the motor assembly unit not squared that did not allow the unit to rotate, they used incorrect hardware with the build of the Air Booth, and the labor they used to install this very expensive piece of equipment seemed to be unskilled and did not show concern with the quality of their work. When dealing with the owner of Sister Technologies, Isreal Alpert, he is so unprofessional, rude, and unwilling to help his customers when they are in need of his companies services. He is such a bad bad business man and if you do a google search on him you will see other opinions of his character. I would encourage anyone reading this to RUN ... not walk ... but RUN away as fast and as far as you ca. Don't waste your time or money. The are a RIPOFF company in our opinion.
All previous complaints on Israel Alpert are valid and i personally experienced, plus more.
I was told by the staffing agency that he was 'a bit of an HR nightmare', but he even went above that. There is constant yelling, belittling, forcing employees to repeat after him, is unethical, rude, and he actually said it's ok for him to act in this manner because he is an 'innovator.'
Bottom line, this is not where you want to work unless you enjoy the above.
I happened across this information and thought it could not possibly be him. Indeed so. He pursued me ardently through online dating...wow what a swindler, con & angry man. He is great "on paper" and behind social media but he is everything you say and more in person. I had him removed from my residence. IMO I believe based on salient (my end) interactions that he is deeply disturbed by some affliction of which I have no interest in. Unfortunately he is unchangeable. Please be cautious of him personally, and professionally.
