I ordered one of their copper hoods for my kitchen. It arrived later then expected. When the COVID19 virus hit, DHL stopped all their overseas shipping. If I wanted it in time for my remodel, I had to pay for shipping on an ocean liner to the Port of LA. That was understandable – an unforeseen circumstance – but:
When the hood arrived it was covered with fingerprints underneath the lacquer. I had to hire a metal specialist to come to my home, strip the hood, clean it, and reseal it. Sinda Copper paid for his supplies and time, but the aggravation trying to find someone even to help was almost not worth it. The workroom did give us $400.00 off the cost of the hood. Their customer support was very helpful and wonderful to deal with. I would think twice though. Their quality control just isn’t there. I would hate for anyone else to go through this experience.
Hello. We operate a design/build firm in the LA area in California. We ordered a custom-designed copper and brass vent hood via sindacopper.com. Deplorable and frustrating customer service. The phone rep promises to get answers and call back, never follows through. Also, the emails and live chat are outsourced to overseas support...
WARNING! DO NOT place any orders from these frauds under any circumstances. We have been dealing with them for over six months now. We had our custom range made by SindaCopper.com, and needless to say, we still can't use it. They managed to screw up the measurements three times. We offered to drive it to their location in Texas. It turns out that place is a house in a residential neighborhood, and it's a front for a manufacturer in CHINA! Kobe at their office even admitted they did not make the hood correctly and that they are located overseas.
You would think they would at least be a little compassionate about the situation, but they aren't. They have been rude since day ONE. No communication skills at all. We got lured in by the few good reviews they had (assume they're fake now), and their prices were less than a few American companies, so we thought we were getting a deal. As another poster noted, Sinda Copper is just a factory in China that is fronting like they're a US company. Also, watch out for coppertailor.com as that appears to be just another copy cat style site and business they operate. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away!!
We are a Interior Design Firm located in Michigan. We purchased a custom copper range hood from SindaCopper.com
They had a few good reviews on amazon and there prices were less than a few American Companies so we thought we were getting a deal. Unforntaly, SindaCopper.com is simply a factory in China that is posing as an American Company.
They have no staff, customer service or warranties for there work. Our range hood arrived damaged and they refused to replace it. They said, it was the shipping companies fault! We tried to file a claim with the shipping company but they said it was booked from Asia and we could not file a claim on that, only Best Sinda could....
Let this serve as a warning. Best Sinda / SindaCopper.com is not a legitimate Amercan Company. Be smart and work with a copmany that operates out of the USA and get the gaurentees you deserve.
