I was contacted by Simple Health last November for insurance for the up coming year. I gave them all my information and a check for my first payment. The money was taken out of my account in January. after never receiving id cards I tried contacting them. It took several days but I finally got ahold of them. They said that they would send them but they never did.
The crazy part is they didn't tell me the name of the insurance company, and it didn't occur to me to ask until a few months later(after never getting the cards)I had to call them again when my doctor's office ask me the name of my insurance company, and I didn't know. All I had was a phone number no names. I got a hold of them again and they said they would e-mail me all the info I needed. I never received anything. I was never able to get ahold of them after that.
I had a doctors appointment last week, so I went on line to try and fine some info about them, and that is when I came up on this rip off about them. Another thing that was crazy was that they took the money in 2 separate transactions, one for 130.85 and another one for 83.08. I'm retired and on a fixed income, that's a lot of money to me.
Please help me to either get my money back or to stop these people from doing this to somone else or to tell me what actions I need to take after contacting my bank. They took the money out on my debit card
I was contacted by simple health for affordable health insurance for myself & my son it ended up being $217 per month with a $350 fee the first month it was for health, dental & vision it was more than I wanted to spend but the cheapest I could have gotten after having it for 4 months I tried to use it i was told to pay out of pocket & file a claim long story short i heard nothing back for 3 weeks when I called them i was put on hold no less than an hr until i get tired & hang up this place is dangerous the stole a lot of money from me pls Beware
This company called with a local area code, but they are out of Florida.
"George" found a great plan for me right away...had everything...way too good to be true.
Wanted my credit card number.
I said, "No, not until I see the policy." He said he would email it to me (he did not) and transferred me to another agent who said I was transferred to her "Brenda" because of "budget issues". She had no idea about anything, even who I was.
They requested a $527.00 deposit which I paid February 3, 2017 and paid March 2017 $147.00 and still have not been able to go to the doctor. When I call you get someone from another country. I would like a full refund. The are scams.
I went online for the best medical coverage on Feb. 3, 2017 because I was laid of from my job on January 20, 2017. I called and spoke to an agent by the name of Leo his number was 954-606-0651 and he said I needed to put $527.00 and my coverage would be a little over $300 a month. I tried calling that number today and it's an international phone number and it will not go through. I called two weeks ago to get an appt with my doctor at 954-606-9070 they then tell me I have to call the concierge for an appointment 954-398-1924. I called they told me it takes 10 day that was March 15, 2017 and I never received a call. When call they ask for your phone number , address: . Date of birth . I would like a full Refund! They are scammers!!
The last week of January my wife and I we're shopping for insurance, I am an owner operator and needed to purchase a new plan, and this sounded to good to be true , was supposed to be $298.00 a month and $155.00, and some how that brought the grand total to pay down to $455.00, to be payed by the 10th of February , well we agreed even though I had miss givings I agreed , I figured I would do some investigating and if I found anything remotely wrong I would not put the money on the prepaid MasterCard as agreed, because they would not take my Discover card for some reason, so I checked my email confirmation email from them, hmmm, strike one I looked for reviews on line now that I had their true identity , and did not like what I saw people same problem and they paid no card, when they would call no answer!!! I refused the insurance!!! Now they will not leave me alone!!! That harass me every day!! SCAM ARTISTS is all they are!!!
\I was called on 1/17/2017 to purchase an insurance policy in the place of OBbamacare due to me not having insurance and the fact i was unemployed, they offered a "resonable" policy. I paid administrative fee plus 1st month''s premium. I nver received an email nor a written polciy. I immediately started contacting them and they referred me to 3 websigtes and 2 other phone numbers (different companies) to get the information i needed. Of course, none of it worked so i called on 1/20/2017 to cancel and request full refund. I was told i would get full refund within 7-10 business days.
I never recieved anything refund nor email. I have contacted them almost on a daily basis with a minimum of 15 phone calls. I hvae talked to a different person each time as well as 3 Senior case managers that each gave me many assurances and excuses. I was told i would recieve an email withing 24-48 hours confirming my cancelation as well as the infomation that my refund woujld follow in 7-10 business days. NEVER received anything.
I have filed a complaint with Texas Board of Insurance. This company is a complete fraud and I have one recommnedation: STAY AWAY PERIOD!!!!
I was sent a text to my phone from ehealth to call them about affordable health insurance. My quote was too good to be true. I should have listened to the little inward voice. They took all of my info, someone read a lot of policies and I was supposed to say yes or no, if you understood. I said yes, because I thought I wAs getting good insurance at a great price..wrong!! I asked for the address of the company they didn't have one. I was given an address for the head company which is Simple Health and the underwriter insurance is Axis Medical. I looked them up online and saw that they are scammers.I should have known. There was just too much noise in the background too noisy for a business. These are the phone numbers that they use : 561-945-8595 x 508; 800 -877-3765 ; and 800-954-4046. These people need to get a real job. I pray that the Federal Agents will put a stop to these scammers. They gave me the run around about cancelling this insurance, so I cancelled it through my bank before they sent anything in.People, please be aware of crazy people online, better known as scammers.
I am doing this to try and warn people. DO NOT buy from Simple Health. The insurance does not cover anything, they are constantly lying to the customers. I honestly am suprised that they have not been shut down yet.
See you see a Insurance Licence to sell insurance, and all of their agents do. but ONLY FOR FLORIDA. really the deals are going to Mathew Spiewak, who i hate to name but its messed up what they are doing. if you buy this insurance, you will still have to pay the obamacare tax panelty at the end of the year. The insurance they sell does not cover anything.
Frank gusmano is a great guy, and runs his floor great, but unfortunally they are selling s**t. thats the problem here
Really, all the exuitives are raking in the money while you are being sold s**t. please do not buy from them.
Look up Health Benifits Center. They had to change their name because so many people were doing the same thing i am, likely, they will change it again and do it all over again.

I got this number for health insurance online , gave all my information and credit card, I was transfer to a recorded conversation with Carlos, after 100 questions , I told Carlos , some of the questions I can not agreed , he then transfer me to a manager by the name of George , who asked what I needed, I explained him, That I couldn't say yes to some of the questions Carlos was asking and h transfer me to you, The manager George told me, just say yes to all of them, so you get thru it, I know is painful, but that's what you have to do, anyway you can cancel it within 30 days. I say what! So what's the point of this recorded conversation, what are you tying to cover. He then told me , well I am trying to help you here, if you don't want an insurance you don't have to buy it. When I asked him to speak to somebody else because he was not helpful, he said have a nice year and hung up on me. I tried to called back and asks for another manager or who was this George manager m and nobody knew who he was. This is a scam. Now I am trying to call back to get all my information. Deleted included my credit card information. Horrible.
I called and was told that my policy is active and that they are sorry that I was billed. Then they started a recording of what my active policy covers. I asked the representative what she was doing since she understood that I had cancelled the policy before it started. She reminded me again that she had offered her apology for the "inconvenience".
An agent for Simple Health Insurance called me about getting health insurance. A short time after signing up, I called and cancelled my application for a policy. I never recieved an email confirmation as promised. I called again for an email confirmation and was promised one. I never received the email that I was promised again. My credit card was billed. I called -1-954-606-9070 and asked to speak to my case manager. A different case manager finally picked up and told me she was sorry that I had been billed and although I had cancelled my policy it was now active. I am stuck with a bill each month and insurance that I do not want. This should be reported on national news because it is open enrollment for health insurance and I see that someone else has been mistreated in the same time period as me.

Simple Health has charged my credit card for $80.00 and I have never called them!! I will dispute these charges as they are unfounded and ridiculous!!
