So eventually two days later it came on again and I brought it to there attention again. We were told to take it to Aamco and have them check the codes and if they can tell what was wrong with it. So we did as we were asked.... I'm not positive on that date but they plugged it in and they said it was code (P0420) the same day we went directly back to the Simple Car Store and voiced it to them of what we were told by the Aamco Tech and we let Simple Car know he said (P0420) they said ok and that they would take a look at it. We set up when would be best to bring it in and whenever we did bring it to them they said they ordered the part and that it'll take 7-10 days... So he said he'll reset the code for us so that the indicator light was off. Between that time I called every other day to see if it was in and it wasn't so I waited for them to call me instead then two weeks go by and I finally call and ask and they said oh yes it's here when can you bring it in.
So we set up a time and whenever that day came they claimed to fix the (P0420). On June 18th 2017 on Father's Day around 11pm our tire blew out on the freeway we pulled over to the side to fix the tire we went to get the spare but there was no tire iron so we had called a tow truck and it took them about an hour and a half before the reached us! Once he arrived the tow truck driver tried for about 30 mins trying different tools to get it off but he said he couldnt because our lug nuts were completely stripped and there's no way he could get them off we were stranded on the freeway. His boss then called and told him to tow us off the freeway to the nearest exit which he did so we didn't get home until about 3am. On June 19th we called our bank and explained what happened and asked what our rights were. On June 20th 2017 I took it to the emissions place and it failed...The Diagnostic Trouble codes were (P0420) Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold. I then took the emissions paper showing it failed to The Simple Car Store. I was waiting very patiently even though I was very angry and irritable I heard (Alex Kraft) tell her mechanics (Donald) and another mechanic "We purchased this vehicle on 4/21/2017 we took it to emissions on 4/25/2017 and it failed. On 5/10/2017 we took it back to emissions and it rejected it then 10 minutes later it passed." They said they would get it fixed again for the second time and eventually we went through the same process to take it in. Then on July 8th 2017 I went to Berge Ford to make an appointment for the 6 open recalls from before I purchased the vehicle and the guy we spoke to said to drop it off on Wednesday the 12th. Somewhere in between the 8th and 12th The Simple Car Store has my car to fix the (P0420) again. I contacted (Donald) on July 10th and he then informed me that it wasn't going to be done that day. I also contacted the bank to inform them about what's going on.
I got a text from (Donald) on July 11th letting me know it was done and ready to be picked up so I picked it up and continued on with my day. On July12th my check engine light came on ONCE AGAIN. I sent that picture the same day of my check engine light and he said "Dang ok." That same day I dropped my car off with Berge Ford for my open recalls and didn't get my car back until July 14th 2017. Either July 20th 2017 or July 21st 2017 The Simple Car Store took my car to the muffler shop they said it was ready a little after the same day. July 23rd 2017 on my way home from work my check engine light came on I made it to Auto Zone right before they closed to check my codes and it ended up showing (P0101) Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/Performance Problem. I contacted The Simple Car Store on July 26th 2017 I was told to submit a service Request by (Sarah the manager) and I did so that same day at 4:45pm. July 29th we went into The Simple Car Store to demand our money back we also recorded the conversation and we spoke with (Sarah the manager) she offered to put us in another vehicle and said she could get car fax on it and we could take it to our own mechanic to have it checked out we said we would talk it over and get back to her. She said to give her business days to talk it over with bank she said Monday or Tuesday probably Tuesday we stated that Monday would be better for us both because we are off.

My fiancé and I purchased a vehicle from The Simple Car Store on May 27th 2017. and roughly about 2 days later my check engine light came on .. Simple car wasn't open because of the holiday so we bought oil because we thought that was the problem we didn't have a manual to know the indications of the lights that popped up after we poured some oil the light went off so we thought we figured it out.. then it came back on the next day. I called the Simple Car Store and explained what happened and even mentioned that fact that it went off they said to let them know when it comes back on so they can see what's wrong with it. I found a paper in my car of an emissions test which was from 4/25/2017 before we purchased this vehicle. The results for that emissions test was that it failed. The diagnostic codes for it failing was (P0054) it says no description available, also (P0420) Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold, and (P0101) Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Range/ Performance Problem. My car Fax says that the code (P0420) was repaired twice before I purchased it. Once in Maricopa and the second time by The Simple Car stores mechanic that is on the premises...On May 31st it came back on around that time the bank had called us to see how the car was and we explained to them that the check engine light was on which was our very first complaint. We also let Simple Car know and they said they would do a service request which was done by (Amber Correll) on May 31st 2017. so it can get looked at and a day or 2 later they couldn't even find anything wrong with it and the mechanic just reset the code instead.

So we went in on Monday but (Sarah the manager) wasn't there it was her day off. We were told by (Alex Kraft) that she would be in on Tuesday August 1st. So August 1st we called (Sarah the manager) and she went back on everything she said and tried to blame it on me driving for Lyft when I had started it when my check engine light was off I didn't drive all the time it was only a couple of times until my check engine light came on and I stopped driving with Lyft completely. August 7th 2017 we contacted the bank to update once again. I went into The Simple Car Store to address my issues and they said they would fix it ONCE AGAIN and to call them with a date so they could get it in. So they fixed it I got it back the same day and on August 21st it came on again as my Mass or Volume air flow. I went back AND THEY SAID THEY CANNOT FIX IT FOR FREE ANYMORE THAT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT OUT OF MY POCKET!!!! Let's not forget to mention they have put this off several times and pushing it to longer days and they couldn't even fix any of the problems since day one. These issues Ive been currently dealing with and the two codes I've had problems with are the ones they dealt with before I purchased the vehicle!!! THESE TWO CODES WERE EVEN WHY IT FAILED 4/25/2017 BEFORE I PURCHASED THIS VEHICLE. this is a ripoff and they are pathetic. Let's not forget to mention the fact that on our paperwork when we signed papers on May 27th our Mileage said 102625 but yet on carfax vehicle repair center it says 103000? How does that make sense? They complain about the mileage and say we put to much and that it works since we put that much on it but yet me and my Fiancé have jobs and mine is in Scottsdale and I live in Mesa!!!! So what The heck.
