SCAM ALERT FOR SILVER DEWY RANCH. Unfortunately, I have been the victim of a scam. https://www.equine.com/horses-for-sale/quarter-horse/30894b70-smokey-15-2-2012-gelding
“Billy” has been listed in 3 different horse for sale websites under 3 different towns/cities—Spencer, MA, Hookset, NH & Brainerd, MA. Brainerd does not even exist on Google maps. From other equine listings, I found the email address to be [email protected]. The phone # is 508 593 7910. If you search Silver Dewy Ranch on you tube, you can see Billy’s video which does not match the greenery of New England. SilverDewyRanch.com (which is how the person, John, told me to find their website) looks legit, but if you google the name, this is what you see:
Silver Dewy Ranch फेसबà¥à¤•à¤®à¤¾ छ । Join Facebook to connect with Silver Dewy Ranch and others you may know. फेसबà¥à¤•à¤²à¥‡ मानिसहरà¥à¤²à¤¾à¤ˆ . I don’t know what language is depicted. Their facebook page also looks legit.
Also, In the URL, the name of the horse is Smokey, not Billy.
Another horse which was listed on equine.com is Scratch, which I am sure is also a scam.

The person insisted on a 10% deposit via zelle before I even saw the horse. $ sent to [email protected] He insisted that the money was completely refundable if I did not want the horse. I had called Bank of America, and they confirmed that I could receive this money back by putting in a claim. When I spoke with the Zelle specialist at Bank of America, he said that they will put ins a scam claim to Wells Fargo, but there is no guarantee.
