I have been an owner since 2000, of a 3 bedroom lock off unit and until this very day, I have never had any problem to confirm a 1 bedroom for 1 week and a 2 bedroom for the 2nd week for the first two weeks of December. I just called and was told there is no * owner * availability, that means there is availability but you are not allowing me to use my time share . My fees are paid up, and as an owner you can not give MY time to RCI nor USE IT for promotions nor anything else in priority of my request. I have already filed a complaint with the office of the attorney general of Florida and I am going to pursue this as far as I have to. You can not LEGALLY have owners who have paid the fees and refuse to confirm them the space and time they own. Shame on you.
This is a copy of the initial contact I made with the Attorney General's Office here in florida. Either refund my maintenance fee for 2013 OVER $999.00 or confirm the 2 weeks of time share that I own, bought and paid for.

'I own a 3 bedroom lock off unit at Silver Lake Resort, I paid the annual maintenance costs totally, the time share cost is totally paid, but I was just advised that Silver Lake does not have any ( OWNER ) availability to confirm my time with them, that they gave it away to RCI, and are using it for promotions and new sales. Silver Lake needs to either refund my maintenance fee for 2013 or confirm the time I own with them. Help. They are doing neither. I have been an owner since 2000. '
CARL at Silver Lake told me that I would be on a waiting list, mean while , there are units available and they are being held for RCI so they can get another exchange fee from the customer. This is a real RippOff if ever there was one. 'DO NOT BUY TIME SHARE AT SILVER LAKE, Look at how rotten they treat their owners.
