Signpost, Inc. Reviews

They trap you in some bogus contract. They sold me on the promise I would get 3 reviews per month through their service and when I tried to cancel for poor service they pointed out I got 3 reviews posted to google and 2 to Yelp.....The only problem is that I posted 1 to google, my ggirlfriend's daughter posted the other, & an employee posted the third. Of the Yelp reviews one was my girlfriend and the other an actual client.....so I got 1 actual review for $900.

I filed a complaint 2 months ago on BBB, which Signpost said they had read, but they refused to do what I asked for, and weren't even willing to talk with me about it.

Instead they kept saying your contract is up on June 16.

I have paid them in full for the 6 month program I "signed up" for. I'm scheduled to be done with their program June 16.

I think for certain customers, Signpost, Inc. is a dangerous company who will take money out of your banking account, even when you place a block or change your debit card number. This is what they did after I had told them I am not paying you again. I was told by Signpost that Visa had given them my new debit card number. Is that even possible??

I made a huge mistake by being sold on their goods. Never was appropriate for my needs. They just keep lying and telling you you need their services. It's that first sign up contract that frees them to take money, and take it. They will not acknowledge if you want to quit.

Moneywise, what did my $800 payment buy me? Frustration with workers who change every 6 weeks. Leads they call them, even if it is someone you already have as a client, and for them I was stupid enough to offer the additional 10% off that SP advertising said I would give. So on 2 different clients, I lost money. Coaching? Very very little. Apparently it isn't enough to pay them but you have to vigorously use their tools. Which I did as I sent out 6 campaigns in 6 months which got me "noticed" a little bit, but except for one call (she would have called my anyway as I'd worked for her before). The phone number they post for me has no evidence of working for me. The campaigns yeilded absolutely no benefits.

I would like to at least be reimbursed for the last 2 $99 payments I made to Signpost. I don't care that I had a 6 month contract, Signpost never brought any profit of any kind to me. It might be good to note that I am also on Social Security Disability. So like anyone my money is very important to me.

07/26/16 - I signed with Signpost for $199 around 3:00 PM EST. Right after I signed up I did a little research I realized that this service was not for me. Having only paid the initial $199 and never even setting up an account, I contacted Signpost at around 6:45 PM EST the same day and asked them to cancel my account and refund my money (approximately 3 hours on the same).

07/26/16 - 6:45 PM EST - email from me:

"Thank you for taking the time to respond, however, I need to have the contract cancelled. We are opting to put our money into a new website and will not be needing the services of SignPost."

07/26/16 - 6:50 PM From SignPost - my email was not addressed:

Your Onboarding Checklist

To ensure your onboarding call goes smoothly, we ask that you come prepared with some basic information about your business. You'll need to be in front of your computer and you should expect the call to take up to an hour. Thank you in advance!

Business Email Access For the onboarding, you'll need to know the login credentials for the email address you use to communicate with customers. It's also helpful if you know which email service provider you use: Outlook, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, GoDaddy, AOL etc.

Social Media Pages Make sure you have the login info for your Facebook, Google+, and Yelp business pages. It's best if you can create or claim them in advance. Otherwise, we can help you create them during the call.

Customer Offer Come prepared with an enticing offer that you would like to distribute throughout your network to attract new customers and encourage repeat business (e.g. 25% Off Any Service).

Business Description We'll put together your business description using your website and other online content, but we can change it on the call to anything you wish. This will be displayed on your social media profiles.

Your Logo This will appear in the marketing materials we create and share on your behalf.

I was just contacted by an aggressive salesperson Malcolm. The phone number used was a local number even though the company does not operate out of OH which I learned in the conversation. I explained to the multi-level marketing close the prospect at every turn salesperson after his pitch that Signpost wasn't right for me. Malcolm kept on and on and on and on about how "everyone" wants to save 40% and not give that money to Groupon. I stated for the 2nd & 3rd & 4th time that I am not interested. I then asked to be taken off of whatever list he used to contact me. Malcolm proceeded to tell me that his company doesn't use lists and that he got my name and phone number off of the Internet. He continued with his response "how am I supposed to take your company off the internet."

So I asked the young man to let me speak to his supervisor or CEO so that I could assure no one from his company would ever contact me again. Total absurdity was Malcolm was sooooo lost in his sales 007 strategy that he was still attempting to close me. Now at this point I'm beyond pissed so I ask who the president of his company was and this guy says LeBron James and he's busy at the moment (time stamp: NBA championship parade happening during this conversation). So I ask him so what's the name of the company you're calling me from? The young man now switches the company and says "Yelp." I replied oh I thought is was Signpost. He hung up the phone

I called the number back several times but was unsuccessful in reaching anyone which led me to BBB. I would not touch anything this company was involved in if it were the last touchable thing in the galaxy. 30 mins and counting out of my day. As a small business owner I don't have time to waste. But I hope others take time to do their research on this company before you waste your money.

I recieved a robo-call from them from a number local to my business. From the nature of the call, I identified that it was a b2b telemarketing call. Upon telling the sales agent that I was not intrested in any business advertising or marketing services the agent proceeded to deny that their company did that. Telling him no once more, he became very rude and told me that he will just find another business that is open for business and work with them. Before I could get a word in edge wise, he had hung up. Upon trying to return the call several times, my call was disconnected before it rang.

If a company has to employ agressive telemarketers, this is usally a sign that something is fundemantally wrong with their product. Either they have a high customer turnover rate, have a high debt to income ratio or have a crappy product or service to offer.

I recieve many calls like this on a regular basis being a small business. Until now, I have never had one of these companies behave the way this one did when I told them I am not intrested. The fact they employ and allow such agressive telemarketing techniques should be a major red flag to anyone considering working with them. This company has a huge number of complaints on the BBB. Do your homework before working with any company, espically if they cold call your business. Any reputiable company will be polite on the phone and immediatly identify the nature of why they are calling when asked.

This company Signpost is a total sham! Their in New York, but will use cell phone numbers with your area code like 404 etc but their in your state! First they'll guarantee you new customers they will call you to your phone directly business will be improving and it is all a lie . They promise 5, 10, up to 20 customers per month but for sure five customers guaranteed. They will give you a price if you say no they will keep calling and calling you back and lie about a manager deal or something like that and make it seem like they took the price so far down but it's still just a lie to get you to commit with them .

They do not care if they are taking your last hundred bucks as long as you are signed up they get paid and you're stuck in a contract with a useless service. Once the sales rep does his part the rest is history you will be moved on to a manager or some sort of helper. They are completely useless they say they are good for promoting and for sending emails as in deals or getting you new customers but you can do that yourself so basically you're paying some price a month for them to just send out a promotion and sometimes They don't even do that you have to do yourself all you get is there software which is useless still .

Worst experience ever once I talk to somebody over the phone about the guaranty customers they were all fake fraud didn't guarantee those I told them to check the calls because I know they recorded them they never get back to me but they always do get back to me with that billing they keep wanting me to pay yet they haven't yet to gave me one customer from their list please do not waste your money on them they are all fakes and liars. Don't believe anything they say on the phone there just on it to sign you up and get you and in debt.

Signpost paints the glorious picture of success and harmony and falls short in following through. After setting me up al "All the search Engines:" and giving them access to my address book, paying them $1000 for basically nothing and then hearing about their wondeful proprietary software, the proceede to take names out of my address book and send e-mail to them promoting me. Suddenly, Bob the plumber who I might use once ever 3 years to snake out my pipes is getting e-mails from me promoting my business. Other marketing companies, CEO's of companies, and my grandmother are getting e-mails from me asking them to write reviews. Apparently these reviews from "Bob the plumber and my Grandmother are supposed to generate new business. Midway through this miserable campagin, I called and wanted to cancel and get the remainder of my money back. You'd think I'd thrown up on their shoes. I heard from the VP of the company with a litnay of reasons why they "Couldn't" refund the remaining funds and "Have you visted your dashboard" is an on going question. They train these people well since you can't tell they are reading from a script. They're always ready to pass the buck to someone else in the company. This company isn't worth $1000 for 0 ROI. I'd stay away
