Angela is all marketing and little substance, overpriced in both her fees and supplements, and deceptive about both.

She markets herself across numerous websites:cleanandleansystem.com, nutritionnorthwest.com, andsiboguru.com to name a few. Her hundreds of 5-star reviews on her website don't align with any independent review site such as yelp.

I saw her for SIBO, where she used her SIBO Guru diet, which was basically a FODMAP diet written out on a picture of a flower. She recommends a lot of supplements. Whenever possible, she uses supplements from obscure brands that are very difficult to comparison shop for pricing.

But the worst part is that I found comparison shopping for her supplements to be impossible because she wouldn't actually tell me the prices she was charging for the supplements. She takes your credit card information at the beginning of your time with her and then starts charging her fees as well as supplement purchases directly to your card.

I asked her for a bill to explain the charges so that I could order some on amazon instead. I actually didn't care so much about the price at the time as I cared about the convenience of getting them to my door in 2 days. She insisted that her prices were the best I could find and then switched me to even more obscure supplements that weren't even available on Amazon.

When I extended my program with her, I again asked her for a bill, but she did not provide that. Instead, she raised the fees without explaining the charges, and when I put together exactly how much she was planning to charge me, I asked her to stop automatically debiting my credit card until she could send me a bill for the charges. A month went by without a bill. I checked in with her multiple times through the month to ask for the bill and remind her that she was no longer authorized to charge my credit card. At the end of the month another charge appeared on my credit card with no bill and no services during that month.

I was never sent a single bill for the 15 weeks and roughly $3,000 I spent with Angela.

I hope I can save you some money. If you have IBS or SIBO, instead of consulting with Angela, download the Monash University Low FODMAP smartphone app for $15 and walk through the diet with them or talk to a real doctor. Don't be fooled like I was into trusting Angela with your health or your credit card.

Beware - Understand what good marketing is...

I can't agree more with the previous comment.... It's important to understand what good marketing looks like, in order to make good decisions for yourself. Good marketing will write content that is specifically made to draw you in and play on your emotions. This process of writing good emotional content makes a sale very easy as now they appear to be an expert. It' s a great concept for business, however when it applies to your health and well being, it's very easy to make irrational decisions thinking that this one person can "fix" your issues. Sometimes it's best to work as your own subject matter expert. Look through the hype and apply the knowledge and monitor your own results. This process can save you literally thousands of dollars.
