I had ordered groceries numerous times from Shop Rite in New Hyde Park for my elderly mother. I had noticed on 3 occasions that there were significant discrepancies between items delivered and what was on the receipt. Some items were missing while other items were charged at much larger quantities than what was ordered. I called the store each time after this happened but was unable to get through to anyone when I called.
I finally went to ShopRite and I was told to speak with the manager. I had brought the items of the last delivery with me and the receipt. When I told the manager, Seth Greenfield, about what happened, he pulled his mask down, walked right in front of my face, and yelled at me saying that I could not verify anything and that I may be a thief if I left the store with the food I was holding. I was mortified and left. I was shocked by Mr. Greenfield's violent confrontation and complete disregard for the spread of disease and human dignity.
