On 7.18.2019 I purchased a Samsung Galaxy note 9 from Shopping Warehouse after researching the site. The web site appears legitimate, selling camera gear, electronics, and cellular phones. The company has an address in Las Angeles California and an 800 phone number. With some confidence, I went ahead and made the purchase. That was on July 18th. That same day they withdrew $399 from my credit card. I asked for a tracking number as soon as they had one. I received a receipt from the site showing the purchase.
Since then I checked periodically on the status of the offer. I expected to get a shipping confirmation and tracking number. Neither the purchase order nor the site said anything about the item being out of stock or this being a preorder for the phone. The only way to contact them was through their web page. The 800 number gives only an electronic voice that leads to no human being and directs you back to the site.
I have made about 15 inquiries to get an update on my purchase since then. I got one response on July 24th saying my order included a preordered item so it could be up to 10 days to ship the item. Since then I have not been able to get any response or confirmation of the order. This company hides out behind their web forms and dead-end voice mailbox providing no information or ability for their customers to get information or redress regarding their orders.
The $399 at this point looks like a total loss to me as there is little recourse. Unable to get communication in any way leaves me stranded. This company is a complete ripoff!
