Spent a while researching them and read all of the complaints, then looked at their website and found all of my ebay items for sale there too. I did not agree to this with ebay! I canceled the order before they had the chance to rip me off too. I will never know if I would have been one of the "lucky" ones that actually had a positive experience, but I was not worth it to me to find out. I already had an experience with someone in Las Vegas who received the beautiful item I sent, waited 10 days, said I sent the "wrong" item, pictured a completely different item and said I sent that. Opened a case against me and said they were returning this fake item. When I received the envelope, it WAS EMPTY!! I had to file a complaint, have the police come to my house and fill out a report. Then I contacted ebay and they refunded my money. But guess what, ebay refunded her money too!
Do not engage in business with this "company". But the problem is if you find this you have already had a problem. eBay needs to terminate these guys, they are the example of what gives eBay and their sellers a bad name. This person or persons bought a 1:32 scale Franklin Mint model purchased on eBay they paid for it, I went ahead and shipped it I tracked it and it said that it had been delivered to a place of business that had been closed. well I called the post office in the state that it went to they told me that it had been delivered. I was then told the package was at the post office and that it would try to be delivered the next day. well the package went out on 1 - 22 - 2018 it still has not been delivered but has been lost in the postal system. I tried to call a phone number and I was told that the phone number had been disconnected or was no longer in service. then I did more investigation and came across a website called rip off and their name is pasted all over it. so I immediately filed a claim with the post office in the postal inspections and still no results.
I have no idea where a $275 model is at and I'm out $122 is that they paid for it on eBay eBay will not release the funds until the buyer has confirmed they have received the item. in the meantime I sit and wait with no money and no model. (In other words they mistakingly thought they were purchasing a 35 year old Yamaha rev7 , Brand new in box!!! yet, for 99.00 WORLDWIDE SHIPPING INCLUDED!.

The buyer name looked strange so I looked them up (shopairlines.com) and while I was reading negative reviews I got an email from them with very peculiar instructions, especially about marking the outside of the package with the eBay item number. I immediately cancelled the order and gave the previous high bidder an "second chance" offer. I also blocked this unscrupulous seller, currently using the ID "us-sal-001" so they can't view any more of my items, but if they use multiple ID's that won't do much good.
Shame on eBay for trying to circumvent the sellers wishes not to ship overseas. Also, eBay doesn't let one post the real reason for cancelling the order. In addition, they automatically listed my item at a lower price when I cancelled the purchase and I never would have known if I hadn't checked my for sale list.
I'd just shipped two vintage dolls to this buyer, who presently has an eBay handle of smallfamiliar2728. (Note that eBayers are allowed to change it every month so let me add that these dolls were shipped to ShopAirlines on Santa Fe Ave. in Redondo Beach.) This outfit ships the items it purchases to customers in Japan. Maybe at a markup. Anyway, I received an eBay message that buyer opened package to find one of the two dolls' eye fell out.
Next step: would I like to offer the buyer a discount or have the buyer return their purchase for a full refund plus pay for the shipping from CA back to RI ($13). I was incensed since the way I packaged the dolls there was little chance an eye could've come loose. (And of course an eye is easy to glue back in place after sending me photos of missing eye, right?) Not a chance was I extending a discount offer to a probable dishonest customer so I ate the shipping. Dolls came back w one doll eye in a baggie.
I was mad at myself for even doing biz w ShopAirlines bc my first instinct (and as a longtime eBay seller of a couple things or so every month) was not to. Why? Primarily bc they had over 60K reviews and not one was negative or neutral. Really?? Something fishy in state of Denmark. Also the rampant complaints about them all over the web. I was incensed since the way I packaged the dolls there was little chance an eye could've come loose. (And of course an eye is easy to glue back in place after sending me photos of missing eye, right?) Not a chance was I extending a discount offer to a probable dishonest customer so I ate the shipping. Dolls came back w one doll eye in a baggie.
I was mad at myself for even doing biz w ShopAirlines bc my first instinct (and as a longtime eBay seller of a couple things or so every month) was not to. Why? Primarily bc they had over 60K reviews and not one was negative or neutral. Really?? Something fishy in state of Denmark. Also the rampant complaints about them all over the web. I advise NOT selling/shipping anything of great value to ShopAirlines of Redondo Beach, CA. I didn't trust them from get-go, and have now also blocked them. (And gave eBay a piece of mind for still allowing this company to buy on eBay given the complaints on the web about ShopAirlines -- complaints that go back to 2010! eBay sucks! Their greed = neither protecting nor siding with their sellers.
